Working Dynamic Drawbridge | Lego Fortnite
Hello Everyone,
In today's video I'll be showing you how to build a functioning Drawbridge in Lego Fortnite. This build turned out to be quite ambitious, and I had to work out how best to work within the current limits in the game when it comes to using dynamic pieces, and managing their interactions with other pieces with in-game physics. Even after I had it worked out, I had to rebuild several times to get to my desired final result. Hopefully my headaches will be your helping hand to avoid some to the mistakes as I include several tips through out the build.
The functioning part of the drawbridge makes use of several items in the Toys category of the Lego Fortnite build menu. We will be using several thrusters, switches, balloons, dynamic platforms, and wheels in the moving parts of the drawbridge. Make sure you have the materials to build these components. 4 dynamic platforms, 12 Wheels, 8 balloons, 4 small thrusters, and 4 switches.
I am showing each step without speeding up the video as it will make viewing the video as a build guide easier to follow and my placement of Lego pieces easier to follow. I am including timestamps to key build portions of the video so that it will make finding those parts of the build easier to find if you need to review some steps.

Doesnt work as of 06/2024. I find amazing pilots and exchange ships. Both the pilots traits and my old ship stats/class/name changes. When I buy back my ship his traits return to what they were. My ship also reverts back to how it was before the trade. Maybe they changed this, I dont know. All I do know is it isnt working for me.
This is for adding a sentinel ship to your squadron. Upgrades and other stats before making any trades have no impact on the stats once added to your squadron. You have the ability to upgrade the pilot on your freighter once it's part of the squad.
VERY long delay response, but am I bugged? I can no longer place the vault catwalks in my camp(I can in the shelters, but they do not show in build/buy when above ground/at camp or workshops) - was this changed stealthy in some update?
Not that I'm aware of. You should be able to use them both in and out of shelters.
Does it carry over tech upgrades?
Squadron pilots get a class rating. Upgrades are not calculated in their performance or damage output. Adding upgrades to the ship before trading and adding to the squad will not change the way they perform or the weapons they use as part of the squad.
What pack are the glass windows? I can’t find them
When it is in the atom shop, I believe they are called the greenhouse kit, not rustic greenhouse just plain old greenhouse. It was originally a scoreboard reward, and is not always available for purchase.

Glass walls were originally part of a scoreboard reward, and are available in the atom shop from time to time now that the original season is over.
Nice video! Quick question did you get it in the Atomic shop by itself or did it come in a bundle?
I've seen it offered both ways when it comes around in the shop. If I'm not mistaken, if you email support they can provide a list of things you can purchase and their atom price even if they aren't currently active in the shop.

Sadly this didn't work for what I was looking to use it for. :( I was trying to build a "floating" jazz club on the water but it wouldn't take to connecting the already built out foundation pieces. Seems like this only works on land. Such a shame because this piece is so neat. GG Todd.
The foundation flip only works when the foundations that need to flip aren't snapped to another foundation. You would need to put the stage blueprint down first, then build the rest of the attached foundations.
It happened to me too. What I figured out is that once the merged stage happened. You could save them as another plan, which will be saved as merged items. You then could connect to the existing structure
The trick with the cursor is EXTREMELY helpful. Saved me a lot of headache here, thank you! And thanks for not shouting like most fortnite videos on youtube.

Where is a big flat enough area to do the armoury?
If you go to overlook cabin and head towards Summerville, there is a nice flat spot on the left side of the road. I've also used the armory in the cranberry bog region I believe.

I haven't bought any of the prefabs in a while. The foundation flip blieprint technique should work if you work out their placement.
@@VladministratorGaming I figured as much but the stairs on that prefab seem to have a hit box that makes some stuff impossible
@@austin62halo I think I ran into this with one of the other prefabs. You may need to adjust the foundation height up or down to see if any help you flip over the area with stairs.

I am unable to test it myself (stuck at work), but the catwalks are back in the atom shop, and a friend of mine says the tricks don't work anymore. Can anyone test this?
Most will still work, but there are a few that have been patched out.

What if we don’t own catwalks
Use the framed stairs that have them off center to the foundation. You need the catwalks to break the snapping mechanics and leave the single stairs floating on their own and to offset them from the center of the foundation.

Nguyen is the most common Vietnamese surname. Almost any media featuring Vietnamese characters have that one Nguyen
Lot's of trouble just to place foundations. I wish Bethesda would remove the restriction and just let us place foundations
It's been two years and many prefabs later. Still none with the ability to just attach foundations without any headache.

Where can I found her. I am new to fallout 76 been here only 2 months back.
She was a collectable from one of the early seasons. They have been adding these past season rewards to the atomic shop for purchase now that the seasons are over. Unfortunately, there isn't a set schedule to know when to expect to see them in the shop.
interesting fact about him from his dialogue he is not one of the followers of the wise moth man who appears during the Equinox and certain other events but the other Moth man the one called the "winged one". nice to be able to talk to one of them that doesn't just shoot on sight
