So I have the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the thumb stick comes loose i mean i need to screw it the right (clock wise), then play for 5 minutes then it comers loose again, i find myself tighting in between game time, does anyone know how to fix? its works it way loose ( not in movement) tighening to the right as hard as i can then in 5min its loose again (not tight)
If you remove the top case you'll be able to take the thumb stick base all the way off, and you could add some thread locker to keep it screwed down. However, I don't recommend using anything that is labeled as permanent strength, because removing the thumb sticks is required to complete other repairs if needed in the future. I'd test if taking it all the way off and reseating it helps before adding anything to hold the threads in place.
