Steve Hunter is and was a hired gun. He played some solos credited to Joe Perry on Get Your Wings. Timeslip is one of my favorite Bruce tunes. Second only to Out Into The Fields. It really shows that Bruce was the greater part of Cream’s sound through his vocals, harmonically complex compositions, bass, cello, and keys. It does leave you wanting more! Maybe a point was being made to Cream fans? I recommend reviewing some of Jack’s work with Robin Trower. SEVEN MOONS is a fantastic album

I love Kate Bush. And I love this song. And I'll never get why anyone can make money by posting "first listen reaction" vids. If you don't know her, and you don't know this song, your reaction is worth less than a used condom. Maybe twice used. The Gilmor bit is especially disappointing. He has great effects but as a player, he is a very predictable (and therefore boring) pentatonic box player. The real brilliance of this song is the way Kate used the Trio Bulgarka. Amazing. TImeless. Unique. Gilmour ... meh. And of course her lyrics ... no one can touch her.

This is a showcase of Gilmour's ability to wring every bit of emotion out of his guitar.

My 1st Concert! Oakland Coliseum. Showed up on stage in a Buick and that bass drum from Escape was pumping!!! No one did a show like Prince!!!

Sam Brown and the Ladies smoked Clare Torry. They had one take. One opportunity to deliver. This is LIVE! No remastering just live performance. No sound engineer to hide behind. I hear people blather on about Claire Torry. Where was she? Why wasn't she on this tour? How much time and effort did it take to remaster her performance. These 3 ladies killed it Live. The most remarkable thing about about this song is how Gilmour and the boys restrained themselves so the Ladies could have and hold the spotlight. Giving them the glory they deserve.

Jack Bruce has been a music hero of mine since I first heard him on 'Fresh Cream' in 1966. He is IMO arguably the most uniquely talented musician of his era.

“Pleasure” from West Bruce and Laing is one of the most amazing and forgotten Jack Bruce performances ever. It did get a little radio airplay at the outset. I call it the Jack Bruce trio, with Jack on vocals, piano, and especially, his bass playing on this track. It’s the most up and down the scale awesome bass playing in a rock song ever. And his vocals are crazy through the roof on this one. “ Pleasure”is truly a showcase for the amazing talent of Jack Bruce.

The album The Wall which this song is from with a concept album that Pink Floyd did it was meant and made for the whole album to be listened to from the first song to the last cuz they all connect. The song is about a little boy and lost his father in world war II she became father and mother overbearing and controlling to the point it made her son neurotic. Very sad song. I've watched other reactions and the younger generation totally does not get this song at all lol.

74, 75....who gives a toss? Great choice Dee.....and yes - the mother of all impromptu jams at the end !! I've followed Jack (and Pete) for nearly sixty years and never been disappointed. I've been in awe of his virtuosity on bass (and one or two other instruments)...it made me take up the instrument, (on which I've never been any good!) When he sadly passed away in 2014, the rock music world was left with an enormous un-fillable hole in it. If you've never heard Golden Days, also from this album, check out the power of Jack's voice - in my opinion, his best ever singing. So much so that I want it played at my funeral ! Seen him live a few times...he will never be forgotten. Now we've lost the incomparable wordsmith Pete Brown too. RIP Jack & Pete.

Ah, dude. It's a *masterpiece* and should not be altered at all. Steve Howe's guitar at the end *does* fit and sounds fantastic.
