ahhhh finally a real tool fan showing this master piece off nice vid, I get crazy listening this REALLY high in my car lol - btw some people stopped me in traffic to ask the track and band name a few times
Enjoyed watching this reaction. I'm pretty obsessed with tool ever since reading a DC interview in modern drummer as a kid, then I bought ÆNIMA and that was it, no other band really mattered. I am always jumping about by the end of this song, so sick. Nice to have a Tool veteran with first time listener to the song. Anyway, waffling on about Tool again so laters and keep them coming.
This is my favorite song by them. The others are also great but this one... Like you said it yourself. It gets to me everytime. I saw them live in 2006. It's still one of the best performances I saw in my intire life.
He's amazing right? My son and I were right in front of him when we saw him in 2020 (right on the barrier). He was having the best time! (Justin I mean). I recently posted some video we shot on our Instagram account - check it out :)
6: 00 minute mark... Hilarious! it's what I've been doing since I was 5. To engine noises, commercials, and anything else with a beat.. Harley's and automotive engines with a nice cam in them are my faves outside of music. Guess that's why I took up the drums ay? lol
@@RDMusicExchange That was a quick shout back, I was watching ur reaction to Mother. I look forward to ur checking out Rush. I've been a fan since 1976,2112 album, speaking of moms me an my mom went to see Rush in Atlanta, Ga,after the show she said only 3guys in the band? I said yep, she said those 3guys made all that noise. Lol. May I request Hemispheres. Thank y'all from Augusta, Ga. 🙋
@@mikethornhill2481 Hi, yes I was just checking the comments when yours cam through :) We'll check out Hemispheres in a future ep. Hope you enjoyed Mother! Cheers!
My favorite Tool track always changes. The Pot is top tier. My current fave is "Right in Two." The music fits so perfectly with that journey. I like to think the egg on the monkeys to fight, even though that's not the common interpretation. Maynard's vocals on The Grudge is tough to beat too.
It’s funny watching the two of you because it’s like a reaction video with her and he represents all us Tool fans enjoying it along with her. His “reaction “ is what we’re all doing too. Lol
So much enjoy your Tool reactions!! And I must say(please forgive me for noticing) but you have an absolute gorgeous of a wife or girlfriend or sister??? Not sure, new to your channel
Thanks George! Rach is my wife, and I'm a lucky man :) Glad you are enjoying the channel, check out out Tool playlist and other videos if you haven't already. More to come soon. Cheers
Tool, Yes, Floyd......I think the obvious next reaction you need to be doing is Rush ~ Xanadu ~ Exit Stage Left [1981] (warning it is a 4 decade long DEEP rabbit hole)cheers from Canada
@@RDMusicExchange think that track/video is the perfect introduction to the legends, otherwise you may not really believe there's only 3 guys! I'm quite certain you will be shocked you haven't heard them before, and will definitely not regret it :)

@@RDMusicExchange I'd be insanely surprised if Rach couldn't name a song she liked from each of them bands! But hey if I'm wrong I don't mind pointing you in the right direction... ;)
Yeah top 3 would be difficult. I know my number one. Without out a doubt is lost keys/ rosetta stoned, which I guess really is 2 tracks. After that it's really hard.
You can cheat by lumping tracks together... Wings 1&2 and disposition/reflection/triad. But yeah, real tricky. Right now I'd say my faves are reflection, pushit (salival) and pneuma. But that'll change next week 😂
I've been listening to Tool since highschool when Undertow came out. IMO 10,000 was a rare "meh," album. The Pot was the best song on it. To be fair anything that would have to come right after "Lateralus" is going to probably sound like a letdown.
ahhhh finally a real tool fan showing this master piece off
nice vid, I get crazy listening this REALLY high in my car lol - btw some people stopped me in traffic to ask the track and band name a few times
I'm surprised I've never crashed the car when I listen to this!
I'm a lover of all bands with a heavy bass, and thus why I've been hooked on Tool since I heard that first bass riff of Sober!!! 😍🤘❤️
If you ever see a old lady in a blue Honda screaming YOU MUST HAVE HIGH...that be me singing along to the best Tool track EVER.
😂 I'll be sure to honk my horn!
I’ll keep an eye out. 👍

My favorite bass line from Tool, which says a lot considering all of Paul and Justin’s bass lines are bad ass.
Yep - so hard to choose!
Thanks for watching!
Plus one of the sickest bass lines in the TOOL catalogue, bursting with rhythm! Great reaction guys.

@@RDMusicExchange you should review Descending
There are a lot of top tier Tool tracks. But this one for me is near the top of even the short list. It’s just relentless.

No 3D visual effects with an mp3. :-P
Can't beat the physical media in my opinion :)

I think one of the great things about tool is that its a true band. None are less important. The drums are just as important as the vocals and guitar
