I feel like a jerk complaining about the way Stal talks because I watched the vtuber episode and she said that’s her normal speaking voice.

We need more random mechanics like m2s. Just going to a place every time gets old.

For most people, when they hit a wall, they don't get better, they quit. It's just true and you have to accept that making stuff harder isn't going to make players better. That said, I absolutely enjoy the DT battle content and SE needs to keep it up.

I had a wipe on M2S once because someone's corny raise macro had so much text that we couldn't see the spread/stack callout further up in the chat and we just died

The lore is good. The concepts could be taken off in directions for a longer story, and you can sort of see how they may be setting that up. The writing, the vehicle through which we received this information, is far below average especially considering what this product deserves. This IP deserves way better than this. It's overly direct, has little nuance, every zone following the same formula.

The amount of times I’ve seen some fucking eejit runs through the middle away from everyone else with the stack in m2s. Why?!

I’m in the camp of a R3S fan. It has too much downtime with the steroid chug but overall the best fight of the tier.

I want to criticize the sentiment of "I'm just doing the story because i want to be able to criticize it". That is pretty lazy consumption. "I just want moose to tell me the good parts". Wth is that lol.

I love this video. I can tear most of the narrative apart, objectively, and on its own merits with its own in-game text. I dont relish that the story was so poorly constructed, but it was, so I find myself really gravitating towards streams and people just looking for the laughs and trying to have fun with it without caving to the copium of the Dawntrail Defense Force huffs. It was nice to see honest commentary without getting pulled into any toxic negativity/positivity. Also 32:52 a good example of this Koana coming up to tell us about the cutscene we just watched in Mamook 30 seconds before.

I enjoy the different perspectives. DT definitely could have benefited from more solo instances, maybe one more dungeon + trial would also have gone a long way. More direct engagement and showing, less telling.

People doing clocks for M2S defamations is driving me up the wall as a tank. The whole fight is color pairs, just go out on your color (card or intercard) after center/outer stage and done! It's been driving me up the wall when I OT and they force me South to my "Clock" when I'm already set up NorthEast for my color intercard tower. Healers are so stuck on their East/West clocks.

Hector promoting MMRR starting from north as a healer is so cringe. If you don’t want to change your party list, do MMRR starting from west going ccw

ah M2s, I like tanking the boss north in hearts phase, then rotating around with the hearts to incentivize melees rotating from the south, then you can just run through the boss when hearts stop coming out of the center to group up with the stack right as it selects someone. I looove doing mariokart as MT too, it hasn't gone wrong for me in a long time now. If everyone stacks on top of you works out really well moving nice and slow from the start, maximizing how many hit close to the starting spot, and half the mechanic has gone by before you have to run through line markers. if casters/healers don't stack, or people run ahead right up against the wall, you're probably going to have to go fast right from the start, and a bit more likely to be a dead healer or ranged by the end of the mechanic. been more consistent for me than defam towers and rotten heart My first ever savage tier, 1 2 and 3 are really fun to do now after my slow learning experience for each. More fun when they go smooth cuz after a bit I start to get dizzy and tired, but I don't hate spending a day on each if clearing later in the week. My brain struggles staying awake so I've had to learn them well anough to do them half asleep anyways. I still haven't tried to learn 4 but i really should get around to it now that I've replaced all my poorly melded gear with the raid gear and no longer feel too bad about my damage :D

25:45 we got couple of these in EW but not enough imo, P5S because there's nothing to eat. While it is an enrage raidwide, I count it because he can do it early if you don't feed him after devour. P10S with the Harrowing Hell + no net at the back I like both enrage as unsolvable mechanic or flashy enrage like M2S and M3S, the worst kind is a basic raidwide. After three interesting enrages M4S has such a lame enrage.

@43:47 echo macro is a really good idea for m4s on the arms. A lot of people think about that differently. I personally just remember which arm goes first and i know to go to the correct side based on which one is going off first. But people need the extra hand holding in the macros to explain that left first fire arms means go right instead of left.

1st tier I PF, and first time I ever made macros, people can't for life of them remember stack/spread. Not going to lie, I always fight for getting 3 hearts for stack lol....only because I MT and don't want to turn boss

I have the same thing with mouser. I am melee I dash in and other groups tank is with my side I get stuck in between two tanks that want my spot. It's 10 years in do you guys not know it's supports left dps right. That and I react to the tanks sharing a braincell and let them kill each other while I stand still.

I'm so glad to see Vit here. 37:15 I initially wasn't a fan of the mechanic just because the hearts are hard to see but the whole having your eyes open and being good is something this game needs more of. So I'd say skill issue. That's the first taste of a mechanic you'd see in say wow where dodging stuff while doing your rotation is important. Granted wow raiding is much more difficult than FF so maybe people don't want that kind of stuff in this game.

PF this tier has been horrible; as it always is, but this time it's been a lil extra or maybe I've just had super badluck? Idc about gear whatsoever; gearing in this game is a joke imo, I just want to experience the fights without the...special people making it harder than it needs to be. Can't join a static because of work T<T so I guess I wait until later in the tier when everyone is more geared up to tackle it again.
