Good work with fixing those hackjobs! That chassis was new to me, i didnt know that anyone makes a chassis like thar for mustangs.
But will they build a 7.3!? 😊
Probably not, @@excellentadventurevan1730. 😂
Nice to see the ol girl get fixed back up. Fine job. Super nice chassis. Bullitt is a classic!
Thank you for the kind words!
🧐
That just ain't right. Nice 67 68 mustang tho.
No sir it is not, @@toddivey1032. I won’t say what I paid, but the “fully restored car with fully rebuilt engine and transmission” wasn’t cheap, and I bought it from a car dealership that specializes in high end muscle cars. 😂
@crazycaseyscustoms completely understand. Learned how to drive in a 1971 BOSS 351 4 speed, was my older brothers car(wish I still had that one). Now I roll in a 92 foxbody saleen clone( jewel green). Good luck and hope u have a Lil fun with that car.
What!!! Excellent video Casey. Very nice work. Complete chassis too. I need this front suspension on my 66. Thank you, sir, I need to go back and watch it again.
Thanks Ron! Hope everything is just fine where you are. I hope to get back on that Model A Roadster one of these days, @@flatheadronsgarage7345. 😂
It’s looking great with that new chassis!

Great video - thanks for sharing these steps Casey, looking forward to seeing it all come together. 👍
Thanks for making such an excellent product, Roadster Shop. Well worthy of the hype, and I can’t wait to drive it!

This system works with the Langmuir table aswell?
@@carnivoreabq8488 it’s not the system Langmuir recommends, but there table is identical, so, the system would work just as well on their table.
@@crazycaseyscustoms another crazy question if you say the tables are identical I am thinking about adding two more tables to my Langmuir. If possible I would love to add two more primeweld tables instead of two more Langmuir tables. Would this be possible to join the two tables? I currently have a Langmuir table, but their customer service has really let me down and I would rather support prime if their tables can be married together with the Langmuir
That’s a little more complicated, @@carnivoreabq8488. They advertise the same dimensions, same size and number of holes, and same hole spacing, BUT, if they’re even a tiny bit different, they’re not gonna bolt up. I would call up Primeweld, and ask for Dustin (he owns the company), and tell him you spoke with Casey Hudson, and ask him if they have they have gotten in their “revised” tables yet. In fact, I believe Dustin runs the social media, so I’ll try to tag them in this reply. **Edit, it looks like I can’t tag another account in a comment.
@@crazycaseyscustoms thanks for all the info! I’ll reach out to Dustin! I have the prime weld mig285 and their customer service was very impressive. Also amazing shipping times. I’ll ask about the revised table. Hopefully it worked out some of the flatness issues. THANK YOU 👍🏽👍🏽
My pleasure, @@carnivoreabq8488, and I hope the info proves useful.

Looks like there's a sligt mustang uprading going on? I have an ingersoll-Rand grinder, that has served me well past 15 yrs now, but its interesting that you can buy something useful with 25 bucks at these days.
Not mine, but yes, a Mustang IS getting upgraded. A rust-bucket with a botched Mustang II conversion is getting a bunch of rust repair and a Spec chassis from Roadster Shop. Should be a pretty sweet ride when it’s all done. As for the grinder, as I say in the vid, I’m very impressed with this tool. Is this similar to the points distributor because when the electrical connection gets disconnected as causes the spark to be hotter that's all I remember
I’m not 100% sure I follow, but I think you’re talking about how the points opening causes the ignition coil’s primary winding magnetic field to collapse, which transfers via induction that stored voltage into the secondary winding, which fires the coil, @@Title4914. And so, this is not exactly like that, but I guess it’s somewhat similar. Electricity is just always trying to get the easiest path to ground, which, as I understand it anyway, is why the induction process “works” inside the coil, and it’s also why the spark jumps across the air gap. Thanks for your comment.
Timing is slightly off
@@talikoga it had been, which is what led to the fouling. And the distributor is pretty worn, so the timing is a little bit sloppy, but it’s set correctly with a Nurex wrench.

@@christophercorso3194 I explain in the video, the plugs were just fouled…even though they looked perfect.
@@crazycaseyscustoms i understood that , but I was thinking maybe that's what caused the failure.
Ok, yeah, just making sure you saw that. The cool was wired correctly. The tune on the engine was pretty bad. And the coil WAS of unknown age and condition and bench tested on the edge of acceptable, so I did end up replacing it just to be safe, but initially, after replacing the plugs and setting the mixture and advance properly, the engine ran great with the old coil. @@christophercorso3194

Man, are all of us building bangers? I posted my model A chassis/engine, Hupmobile touring body on the Hamb last night. So far it has been fun.
@@AtomicReverend nah, this is just one I work on from time to time. I want to, though. I’ll try to find your post tonight when I’m back inside.
Hupmobiles were really high quality cars
@@brianalbee4153 i just love cars both stock and modified. To make a long story short. The Hupmobile is whats left of a model R touring it's either a 1918 a 1919 or a 1920. I got the whole body but that's literally all I have. I bought it at an estate sale it came on the back of a model AA Flatbed truck that I sold off to a winery here in Southern California that was going to use it as a giant sign. Anyways I have gotten real heavy into Model A Fords over the last three or four years and in that time I have acquired a ton of extra parts like a ugly boxed frame, a dropped front suspension, stock engine and stock transmission, a 1940s rear end that was modified to fit a Model A and I also got some model B parts and a performance cam... So as this story is getting really long now I have decided since my 1931 model a pickup is costing me a fortune to turn it into the hot rod I've dreamed of since I was a young teenager (30+ years ago) that I would make this jalopy "Fupmobile" (Ford Hupmobile) or as one of my friends calls it a "Fupenstein" (Ford hupmobile Frankenstein) a fun around town beater... Over the last few days I have just about got all the chassis assembled and modified back to stock (installing stock model a engine mounts, drilling holes filling holes etc), I got the model a engine fired up and the clutch even appears to work so I am hoping to take the touring body make a steel subframe and then drop it on top of the model A chassis. Then I am slowly going to build the "banger" hopefully to get 70 or 80 horsepower out of it which is double what a Model A has stock. My only thing I'm trying to figure out is it from want to take the touring body and turn it into a giant T bucket roadster thing or do a touring (the problem is the touring is a lot bigger car than a Model A was).
Hey Crazy Casey, where did you get that bucking bar for the 3/16" rivets?
I just put a link in the video description, but they are sold out. You can probably search by the part number, and find it elsewhere… Good luck!
