Vac secondary 4160 style carb. You should specify. On a mechanical secondary 4150 style not the same.

Been using 2 stroke prime for long time. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that its all going to be alright. Friends that use starting fluid like they are spray painting a mural give me a very uneasy feeling like its all going to come out the side of the block!

My question to you is: Is the engine under load on a dyno? If I smash to WoT with my Holley 4bbl in the driveway, I get to 4k rpm in about one second. Or did you film this under the hood while your significant other is flooring it down the interstate?! LOL!

I remember as a boy, we lived two blocks off of the main hiway and when the police would get a call down our road, i vividly remember the scream of the wide open Thermo Quads as those police issue Diplomats and Gran Furys were floored on their way past our house. What a rush!

Sorry for the dumb question, but would a vacuum secondary usually be better for a random stock 318 or 360 street engine daily driver and occasional 1,500 pound trailer pulling car vs. a mechanical secondary?

You didn't share HOW you did it.

My 65 D-100 with a "non super" slant 6 with a 4 speed and a sure grip with 3.90 gears tried to burn rubber. With mud & snows on the back all it did was burn the clutch. Nice job!

Our slants in 🇦🇺 started of with the 145 hp then the 160 hp slant and the VF Valiant 69 Pacer slant at 175 HP 🙀😃. Although me and my brother have had slants with some moods would put most band X to shame . Long story been there many many time 👍🏻🇦🇺✌️.
