If I interpret this correctly, it may be because you have the wrong settings in the pump that control iq may feel a little too careful to correct? I feel that the pump goes in too late and gives bolus when you are on the way up in blood sugar.

As a type 1, boarding a plane, my cary on had 15 granola bars and a tuna fish sandwich. The TSA agent crushed each bar and folded the sandwich multiple directions. On the 2-1/2 hour flight, I ate the squished sandwich and two granola bars. The moral of the story is never to rely on someone else.

I found another solution to remove the adhesive after removing the sensor is just using coconut oil. You can wipe it right off after applying that to your skin.

I’ve had type ones diabetes since I was seven and I’m now 16 and trust me it does get easier and you will be able to work through it. There’s gonna be a ton of ups and downs and you’re gonna feel amazing at some moment and then completely offload others but you gotta keep your head on the goal. You gotta keep your head up. You gotta be able to face these things and say OK I have this and I can work through it. Yes, it’s gonna be hard at sometimes but it’s so worth it, having diabetes, you’re gonna be able to keep your head up and you’re gonna realize life is still just as valuable with it

I was going hypo one time with my friend, and I told him (since my dumbass forgot to restock my “diabetic bag” that I keep my diabetic shit in with emergency snacks) to grab me a coke from the CVS around the corner and bring it to me, homie comes back with a Coke Zero, I ask him “why did you get a Coke Zero? I need a normal one.” To which he responds “your diabetic, you can’t have a normal coke!” I did end up getting a normal coke shortly after and all was good, but still it was a funny moment

I agree however, I feel that my employer should know in case I go low so they can give me proper help if needed,in fact that has actually happened to me once and it was good that my coworker knew what to do. Also at least with me , when my sugar drops I get confused and if people don't know it's because my sugar is low they may just think I'm drunk or on drugs or something. But I've never been turned down because of it they just ask if it's under control and for the most part it is.

Last a1c was below 7.0 … I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 15 years. In high school I had some girls think I was doing drugs when all I was doing was taking insulin. I’ve had some scary times, but am doing much better today. I’ve had some lows but always carry sugar and glucagon on me. No one in my family is type 1 except my great grandmother and I also live with a second genetic condition. Thank you for inspiring me with the videos.

I have a type two diabetic friend whom likes to tell me that I shouldn't have sugar. I say that I'm type one and I can always take a shot. I also try to teach about type one diabetes to others online who say. "This will give me diabetes." Or I saw a comment on videos for a young type one diabetic "If you didn't let her eat so much sugar she wouldn't have diabetes." Why is cancer the only disease taught to high schoolers. I almost died last night from this disease 😢 yet they are still people making jokes online or on TV about type one diabetics. Add on top of my type one diabetes is dialysis and I'm only 25. I celebrated when you burnt that paper

I didnt stress about covid. Didnt get vaccinated, got covid twice. The diabetes is still uncontrolled and am excited when my morning sugar is less than 15. Covid was like a cold for me. I also have hyperthyriodism and am 55. I find i usually don't catch colds as often as i did before my diabetes diagnosis. Am type 1 and find it so distressing to not have the blood sugar under control.

The comparison with the car is very apt. Our body is created by nature and consists of material elements that transform back into earth at the end of life. However, we are different from material elements. The ego, the consciousness, the life force, we are made of another higher eternal energy. When the body dies we live on and start a new chapter of life somewhere else. However, it is very strange that young people get diabetes. People always talked about old age sugar, old people who can't digest well and eat too much get diabetes. In young people or children, this looks more like external influence. Similar to the Contergan scandal.

Don’t bother with this pump. I have widely swinging glucose levels with this pump. I often awaken in the morning with a glucose too high to read, yet no extra insulin was ever delivered. And no I don’t skip boluses.

I just found your channel and I appreciate any insight I can get. Thank you for sharing…I was 69 when I was diagnosed with LADA (T1D) and I am so thankful that I embraced technology. I ran the gamut in just over a year. From T2 with oral medicine, to a single Basel injection daily, then a CGM and Basel injection with Bolas injections before meals, and finally a MiniMed 780G. I am so thankful for the timing of all of this!

I'm literally in tears. I'm so sick of all the things that come with this. Dr's blaming me for my rollercoaster sugars, friends or family talking to me about me cures and how I can do better and should I be eating anything ever. I'm tired, I'm so so tired - emotionally, physically, I just don't want to do it anymore. My pump constantly wakes me up, I am constantly obsessing over numbers.. OMG my brother (someone that should know better) asked me why I wasn't more prepared for a low sugar like I'm supposed to bring a suitcase with me always. I'm at the end of my patience. I've had it almost my whole life and I'm done.

It’s always nice to talk with my buddy that’s T1 as while but going online and reminding myself I am not alone helps. My family is my rock but they don’t know yesterday was a BS rollercoaster high low and in a bad mood. Right know I don’t have the $ for night my insulin and it’s day 3 and I am feeling the stress. I will be fine and am already feeling a new wave of energy to win against dieassbeting thanks bro.

I feel like the main problem is type 1 is a different disease then type 2 they are not the same and should have a total different name. nothing makes me angry like when someone says” my grandad got the Sugas and all he did was walk around and lost weight “. I feel for anyone that has to deal with the ups and downs and any that has woken up to cops or EMTS standing over you and you have no idea what’s going on. That’s my nightmare and has happened on more the one occasion:(
