What ignition coil would you pair with a mallory breakerless distributor (external ballast resistor) on a PCM 351.
Awesome video and terrific way to transmit information, direct and clear, just learned a lot. Could it be that the flout level set different due to the fact that is mounted on a bout engine and the engine sits is exaggerated angle, but normal for the purpose?
My velvet drive is leaking from the shaft. The mechanic replaced the seal but still leaking. What do you suggest it could be

Okay, I have a question. You are reindexing this so that you can use it with a reverse rotation engine. Does the Velvet drive not have to be specific to a left or a right hand rotation engine or is this all that you need to do to change a velvet drive from a right to a left hand rotation?
I have no doubt that you did a good engineering job. However, that is different from a good instructional job. Thanks for trying but they are so many omissions and unanswered questions.
We have this but with a grease tube attached to it . A 1/2 turn on the Knob packs in a small amount of grease which elongates the life of the packing . Never saw them without a grease point
One question : I have a boat reinell 1999 and before turn it on I move the shift once forward and put it neutral again when I turn it on some times I notice the Carburator release some gas from. Carburator when I turn it on it’s that normal or ido i need replace the carburetor?
What happened to the shaft retainer ring on the shaft? That retainer ring should be on the shaft just forward of the packing nut and does it not need to be loosened and moved out of the way first?

Absolutely disgraceful OJ Props sells these with no instruction manual whatsoever. Your video is nice but where is the official OJ Props info? Is there a means provided to release the air from the shaft log so it stays cool with water. No need? Maybe you could review that. Also, there is a hose clamp on the seal end of the gland. What is the purpose of that? Tighten the seal if it leaks? You didn’t touch it or mention it. Must be there for some reason. What about cleaning the shaft of oxidation and removing any bur present at the keyway? Is it not OJ Props responsibility to provide this information? Makes me question the company and my decision to buy this. Terrible!
Can these damper place be reconditioned. I am dealing with a Stern power. Outdrive what's 900 horsepower and I'm having issues getting parts.. like the video easy to understand thank you

so many vids here and on all of youtube on HT install an impeller. I got it, so dang easy. Do you have a video on rebuilding a G21 raw water pump. 92 PCM 351 engine. bearings, clips, seals, etc.... take it apart, put it back together? maybe just an exploded view dwg? what goes where, what order, HT get the dang thing apart. please help a boater out here.

My pump walked off the bearing close to the crank. Can that be replaced and remedied too?
I wish you would do a video on replacing the impeller in the most poorly-engineered raw water pump in history. That would be the one on my 2002 Ski Nautique with the "Excalibur" PCM Chevy 350. The pump is nearly inaccessible due to its location between the fuel control cell and the harmonic balancer pulley. One of the mounting bracket bolts has to be removed using an open-end wrench because it is located behind the pump pulley. Of course, the tight quarters limit the wrench to less than one sixth of a turn, so removing this bolt takes quite a while. Once the mounting bracket is loose, and I have cleaned up the blood from removing the inlet and outlet hoses, the pump and mounting btacket assembly must be maneuvered back under the engine to the only spot it can be removed, from the area between the two left side engine mounts. The best part, though, is trying to wrangle the new impeller into the housing. I always allow a couple of days to do this. I use a couple of hose clamps to compress the impeller blades, and lube the blades with dish soap. It usually requires 50 to 60 attempts to find the magic combination that gets the impeller in without pushing the woodruff key out of the slot in the shaft. I'm up to 30 attempts tonight, and I'm quitting for the day.
I bought an 84 Bronco out of a junkyard. It has a Holley carb. I mainly have worked with Edelbrock carbs. So this video was very informative. Thank you.

1:01 can you tell me if, on the port side engine, the pump is attached opposite if it is a left hand drive? just heard in the video it goes opposite, but it doesn’t want to attach that way. I put on a new pump, fried the impeller, I wasn’t the one who took off the pump so I don’t know if it was the same as the starboard side.

Need to replace fuel pump on '88 MC. The pump I'm taking off does not have a filter on the bottom, as you show. Should I be looking to go back with one with a filter? Also, PleasureCraft sells one for $169. Marine Fuel Pumps sells one for $69. Is one better than the other?

I'm having trouble with the new hose and clamp leaking on the intake (bottom) side of the pump. It's a nice clean cut hose, brand new clamp, still keeps dripping out the top of the hose. Anyone have any pointers in getting the hose to seat? I'm running on a bucket, so no excess pressure coming from garden hose. The clamp is tighten down.
I have a 4160 with a few years on it and must scrape stuck on gasket off with razor blade, now I have tiny bits in the metering holes if the carb body, I'm concerned about plugging up the circuit with this debris any advice on how to avoid this would be appreciated,
