Life Updates: I Got Married, Rescued a Dog & Discovered I Have ADHD at 30!
After an eight-month break, I’m back to share some heartfelt updates about my life’s recent twists and turns. Last December, my partner and I eloped in a simple yet beautiful courthouse ceremony, witnessed only by a close friend who captured the moment as our photographer. In January, our family grew by one more as we welcomed a lovely dog from a shelter. But that's not all: I turned 30 last week and was diagnosed with ADHD, which has given me new insights into the personal challenges I’ve faced, including my previous inconsistency with uploads.
In this video, I discuss the intimate details of our elopement, the joys and challenges of adopting our new dog, and how discovering my ADHD has impacted my life. Whether you're dealing with unexpected life changes or navigating personal challenges, this video is for you.
Join me as I explore these significant life events, share my experiences living with ADHD, and talk about the beauty of simple, meaningful celebrations. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and click the bell icon to stay updated with my journey!

i just got me somw 28 t h c weed and my nights are full of fun i love weed. and its way better then beer or wine for my p s t d it is the best but i just smoke 2 nights a week and enjoy it. dont smoke yourself to death use it dont let it use you same for beer same for everything enjoy weed but if you smoke all the time it is not good for you i run i work i surf i have amazing days just cut down and enjoy it
I agree with you for the most part and quit as well, but I don’t think I’ll never smoke ever again. I can see myself smoking like once a year in Greece on vacation. But only sativas , indica is trash that makes you lazy.
Once a year on a vacation sounds reasonable if you can stick with just that. For me I think it’s not worth the risk of falling back into it. I’ll hit 2 years without weed in a couple weeks and I don’t even miss it at this point so I’ll just stick with never again for now. Good luck on your journey! Thanks for watching!
@@kdtv94 I completely understand, congratulations on the two years sober.
@@kdtv94 Thanks for making this video, I use videos like this to help me understand why I need to quit weed.
What a great video
Thanks for watching!
Actually when I decided to quit I decided that it was going to be forever. Probably because I made previous failed attempts with not so clear goals, and as soon as I touched it once, it would quickly escalate to same life. Anyway, best decision I ever made. Self improvement is a great hobby.
Congrats man! Best decision I took in my life 6 years ago. Strive for self improvement is the best high we get.
It helps regulate ADHD, improves focus and helps with many conditions. However, everything in balance
It definitely does not do those things. As someone who was recently diagnosed with ADHD it was not helping my condition whatsoever. Improving focus? Are we talking about the same drug? 😂
Please share your understandings about ADHD and task initiation strategies. It's amazing that you're here with your developments.
Yes! I think that’s a good video idea that I’ll need to do soon.
Quitting weed is easy...I've done it a thousand times....
How about quitting it and not returning? I’ve done that. I’ll hit 2 years in a few weeks.
Why do you look high?
🤷🏼♂️ I wasn’t. I guess that’s just my face
3 months isn’t for good. You have quit for 3 months. I’ve quit for years at a time but it sneaks back in. I hate weed it’s pure witchcraft! Never let your guard down!
Well it’ll be 2 years this month so I’d say it’s for good in my mind.
After smoking weed for around 20 years I decided enough was enough. I quit weed, fags and now I’ve lost weight through fasting, which has taught me a lot about my mind and body. I went through hell for weeks, I’ve had every symptom going. Even triggered what I believe was cannabis psychosis/ severe paranoia. Worst feeling in the world. I literally had to lock myself away. Weed turns you into a doss bag, I never got anything done. It’s been a couple of months nearly, and my mind feels so clear , I am currently taking baclofen as I was diagnosed a few years ago with fibromyalgia, to do all this on top of pain has been a challenge. Not sure if long term heavy cannabis use has left me with permanent damage. I get pins and needles round my body, but also a strange pressure feeling, with chronic neck and upper back pain, my muscles spasm a lot and they just seem to keep tensing and I feel like I can’t stop it 🤷♀️ If anyone would be kind enough to share there thoughts? 😊
I’m on day 5 no weed after smoking for 13 years straight & I keep giggling for no reason lol
great vid man, just started talking about this myself. your honesty is appreciated
A great video, appreciate your courage to share. Relevant, topical, useful, relatable. Unless control is mastered, the tool will become a weapon. Keeping small promises to yourself to rebuild trust - well-worded. Rituals = Identity. What we do is who we are. And we all do stuff. So important to be aware of the stuff you do and what it does to you.
Thank you for the thoughtful comment and for watching. Exactly! That level of awareness can really help us figure out how we are getting in our own way of what we think we want. It also can provide that clarity of whether what we think we want is actually what we want.
Quits weed to eat magic mushrooms 😂😂😂
🤣 well to be fair I was doing psychedelics before quitting weed. What I will say is that I actually use them significantly less now than I ever did before. Now I trip like once a year and maybe micro once or twice a month.
Im 1 week in, after 10 years of daily use
First few months are the hardest but it does get easier! You got this 💪
@@kdtv94 Did you short term memory ever return? Or did you even have any problems at all.
Yeah it did for sure. Mentally I feel a lot clearer now. Hard to say about pre smoking levels because I was a teenager when I first started smoking but I definitely feel like my brain is operating on all cylinders now.
so much plots on this videos.. your age, the psychedelics.. very nice man! im 2 weeks out weed.. still on nicotine tho (I still hope one day i can lay down and enjoy being high)
I think for those of us who really need to quit it’s a slippery slope thinking we can enjoy it just a little. Romanticizing the thought of it can be tricky especially when trying to quit. You’re on the right track just be mindful of that. Only you know if you really have a problem with it or not.
Holy shit dude, the anxiety and racey thoughts at night were horrible for me, some nights I thought I might die in my sleep for no reasonable reason other than my heart racing from being so anxious about essentially nothing. I'm 1 week clean after heavy use for 3 years and I'm already feeling infinitely better. I'm actually writing this while chilling in bed at 10pm and feel totally fine, truly a miracle it feels like
Thank you for sharing!❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! Be sure to check out my other updates from 6 months and a year if you want to see my progression. In late July I’ll hit 2 years without weed.
@@kdtv94 I'm watching those right now! Congratulations on your success 😊
Thank you! 🙏
28 years old highly functioning stoner doing muay thai working a day and night job i thought i could do it all but going from smoking an ounce-half an oz a week to 0 has made me realise that i was killing myself and how much more potential i have in me. These videos inspire me so thankyou for that. Im in week 2 now and feeling pretty good about it. Gettinf over changing shirts and bedsheets 2-3 times a night from the cold sweats though.😅 Also i dream about my recently deceased brother and father alot very vivdly and thats a nice touch for me and dealing with all the emotions that i should have dealt whilst lost in the haze
Good that this video comes up as I quit just 5 weeks ago and tomorrow will mark 1 month of me being clean. I quit cold turkey after I had a bad trip on May 19th. I’ve had some pretty bad withdrawal symptoms in the past couple weeks, you know the really bad anxiety, bad bouts of depression, little to no appetite, brain fog, nausea here and there, and hell even derealization. The last one is what was killing me the most. The anxiety attacks were so bad I was sent to the ER last week. I’m out now, and I’m still feeling the brunt of some of the things I mentioned. But today I felt genuine happiness for a little bit after all that time. I don’t know if that’s the first sign of me finally coming out of it, or if it was mood swings. But if this really is a sign, then I’m hopeful for the future. Never ever gonna do weed again
Been smoking almost daily for 2 years, been quitting for almost 2 weeks now. Weed is like Achilles’s heel to me. Still tempting to go back but I am 100% willing to stop. wish me luck guys. Just dont let it controls you, your life, your relationship and wealth… kudos to all brothers/sisters who are willingly to do the same.
You got this! If you slip up don’t throw away all the progress. Just get right back to it. I’m almost at 2 years now and it gets so much easier over time.
Took me years to figure out its all trash. Life stealer.
i smoked yesterday because the cravings got to me. I needed this video a lot, your story is gonna help me achieve my goal of reaching full sobriety
I hope it does! A bump in the road doesn’t throw away all the progress you’ve made before. You got this!
Its been 3 months for me, and I feel its harder now than the 1st week. I feel like I'm just detoxing, and feel like it's still in my body 😕
It does get easier. Just stick with it and it will get easier and easier. Before you know it your life will be used to not using and it’ll be foreign to think about bringing it back into your habits.
I smoked since I was 13, I’m 28 now, I quit 3 years ago, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made, weed will take years off you’re life, it will drain you’re energy, time and money.
Yeah I’m going to hit 2 years in July. No regrets and I really don’t miss it. More money in my pocket too!
Hell yeah dude, shits tough out there. Really good ideas though, and very well put. Having a creative outlet is huge!
been smoking weed for 9 years now and i’m ready to quit today:) im excited but nervous and a lil sad and happy at the same time!
All reasonable feelings. I was a little sad about the idea of never doing it again at first too. Because I had good times on it in the early days but those same good times can be had sober too and you learn to really appreciate being sober more.
dude you don’t need a 20 second intro 😂😂
Yeah agreed. I don’t do that on any recent videos 😂 just thought it looked cool at the time
There is no way to do something moderately if you were an addict. This is simply not possible .
Agreed. That’s why I quit. I wasn’t able to do it moderately ever. Almost 2 years now and not looking back 💪
I only smoke once at night and I never have issues
That’s where I was at the end. It still wasn’t healthy for me so I ultimately decided to quit.
Well, I had respect for him watched this whole video now I’m gonna go because no no psychedelics people try to say I’m judgmental because they’re trying to legalize them in Michigan and I’m like no honestly hash is more about mushrooms now because people are like it’s legal hash is boring But they didn’t like them. I don’t like them. I don’t like them. Don’t say you’re sober when you’re not actually sober that’s what my friend did. Oh all I do is this nicotine no she drinks. 🙄
Bye 👋
Isnt not smelling like shyt and breathing air better.
Finna share this joint with my wife.
👌
I also belive i can be myself without weed its been over 80days and i know i aint going back
I am four months in, and it's starting to get to heavy, I smoke half ounce a week. Maybe another £20 on top.
The acting was crazy😂
Just hand me the Oscar already 😉
Great to see you back buddy! Looking forward to the future content. What’s up heavy mommies!
Thanks for watching! Yeah I’ve been working on my photography/video business the last couple weeks but once I finish a couple more tasks for that I’ll drop another video. I have a few concepts already that I’m going to tackle in the next ones. Should be fun!
12 weeks is nothing lol. Haven’t even started PAWS
How’s almost 2 years now? 😉
I watched your other videos after. My bad lol
I quit smoking weed after 3 years everyday . I had no withdrawal at all my first night I didn't get enough sleep but that's about it my second night o starting having vivid dreams , slept like a baby .
I’ve been clean for four months now and I’m definitely proud of myself. The first month when I quit, I experienced “the pink cloud phase“ where I really was euphoric and motivated, yet that seems to have subsided a bit. I was honestly hoping that would continue. Was it something that you experienced as well? I’m still lacking motivation and hoping that will return as neuroplasticity continues to heal my brain.
Honestly it will not continue purely based off of being sober however you can continue that energy by investing your energy into something else that you’re excited about. Gotta find a replacement passion or hobby to fill the void to get excited about. For me it was UA-cam creation, fashion and photography but it can be anything.
@@kdtv94actually I did that a while ago and the passion was getting back into vinyl record collecting which was a huge contributing factor in quitting cannabis. I guess I need to continue seeking out other things that create fulfillment in my life. Thank you!
Bro looks and reminds of ricky from trailerpark boys
I’ve never seen the show but when I google him tbh I don’t see it 😂
@@kdtv94 well its just that he was a massive pothead since young and youre demeanor is kind of the same so maybe that just makes you look more like him to me but its really an exateration of youre lookalike (sry i cant spell that one word)
I had nightmares after I quit for a few months of returning to weed during extremely stressful moments, to wake up relieved I'm still sober.
Yeah dreams definitely were more vivid in the early stages for me too.
2 weeks today... after 15 years of smoking every day. It's rough >.<
I was told by older man who smoked weed , you get up , you go to work , come home have a great dinner and then have a joint or 2 then repeat the process , weed is only bad when you don't work and have to much time on your hands , so of course your going to be smoking flat out and having all these issues that many encounter .
I think anything used mindlessly and habitually is generally not good for you. If used intentionally and thoughtfully it can be used responsibly. For some people that isn’t possible without it eventually devolving into mindless habitual use.
Can't stop, won't stop
You don’t have to. This is for people who should consider it for themselves. Not everyone has a problem with it
There is no need to quit smoking weed unless people do it too much like he said, or if people have underlying mental health issues and they are using it to self medicate.
I mean this video is directed specifically at those “unless” scenarios. Definitely not intended for responsible occasional users.
Cannabis can be used for bad or good. It’s up to you. It’s not evil (unless you make it so). It’s not holy (unless you make it so.) You sound like you used cannabis very much without purpose.
I wouldn’t say I used it without purpose. I would say I used it without regard to its detriments it was posing on me. Since learning I have ADHD now I believe I was using it to self medicate my condition. Since I was unaware of it, it led me to using in a really unhealthy way even if I wasn’t someone who was stoned all day. I only smoked in the evenings and it still was causing me trouble with not dealing with certain things in my life. Weed makes it easy to put off things that need to be addressed and the longer it goes unaddressed the bigger the issue can balloon.
It’s medicine yall. Respect the plant. Grow your own. Cinderella 99 is the best!
