Bravo. I'm on day one.
Hey you gotta start somewhere! Good luck on your journey. And if you slip up don’t throw all the progress away. Just get right back to it 😊 you got this!
You can do it bro, I'm on day 8 and it felt impossible at first. Now my mind is clearer than it has been.
Good luck brother !
❤
This is very inspiring...
Congratulations. This really is an accomplishment 👏🎉
I am on day 4 after 21 years and content like this really helps 😊
Thank you! I’m glad I could help 😊
Watching your videos fills me with hope and strength to face this journey. It has been 5 days since I have decided to stop consuming alcohol, cigarettes and marihuana. As a regular 15 cigs smoker, full time weed consumer and at least one beer a day drinker, I began to realize how it was interfering between me and my personal goals, I will be 25 in a couple of month’s and it was my resolution to get to my birthday substances free, and compare myself in a year from now to see how much I’ve accomplished. Thanks for sharing your personal experience, hope you continue growing as you are now, greetings from Argentina my friend!
I’m so glad to hear you’re making a change in your life for the better. It will not be easy to stop so many things at once.
Make sure you replace those things with some other activity that is healthy and can fill the void. You got this! Please update me as you make progress. I want to hear about your journey.
How's the progress brother?
i’m proud of you man i hit 2 weeks and got bored and did it again but a set back is learning can’t wait to get back to 2 weeks and then a month then 3 months keep going man
Thank you! Yes a minor setback but nothing you can’t handle! Now you know what two weeks looks like. It’ll get easier
Damn I watched the 3 month one and clicked this one, definitely look alot leaner congrats bro
Thank you! I'm in an even better place now for sure. Thanks for watching both :)
It’s so hard . Im trying to leave it . Not smoking all day like i use 2 but have allowed myself to smoke after 7pm when im done with work and all my activities . One step at a time . Hopefully i can do it .
That was the last step for me before I quit. I was only an evening smoker leading up to it. Everyone has their own timeline. If you really want it you’ll eventually get it figured out.
@@kdtv94 For me same.. last step before quitting totaly, was smoking few pufs before sleep..
Good on ya mate. I came here after revisiting your '3 months without' video for inspiration on my own journey. Stoked to see you've made it over a year now. You've also inspired me to get back into One Piece 😄
Congratulations on your sobriety...? Also congratulations on your new found interests and your engagement. I'm not sure how your content came up on my feed, but I'm proud of you, I'm so inspired.
Thank you! The youtube algorithm works in mysterious ways lol. I'm glad I could inspire you! That's what this video is all about. To document the journey for those who are thinking about quitting so they can see how things shifted for me throughout each video in the series.
Respect brother!

Thank you! I think so too!
Congratulations fr. I'm trying to commit in my mind still. I know everything will be better without it. Disappointed in my complete lack of adulting.... self control.😢
Don’t let any missteps discourage you from the overall goal. Progress is progress and celebrate the wins! Thanks for watching both of these videos! Feel free to revisit them or watch any of my other videos on the subject when you need a reminder what the larger picture is.
I decided to quit a few days ago, found your videos and put them on repeat. I lost my brother a few months ago to gun violence, so called drug deal gone wrong. It was a quarter Oz. Smh.
I’m so sorry to hear about your brother. Gun violence in this country is out of control and the drug war has only made things worse. I wish you luck on your journey of quitting and healing. 🙏
day 10 and its so nice! sometimes like today i thought i have withdrawals but they came from my caffeine addiction that i sometimes forget
Yeah quitting multiple things at once can definitely make it a bit harder. Glad you’re on your way though 😊
Yeah quitting multiple things at once can definitely make it a bit harder. Glad you’re on your way though 😊
Its been 2 months for me so far, this video boosted my motivation, thanks so much and very good job on your milestone
I’m glad this could motivate you! Keep it up 👍
I hit the 90 day mark! I also quit vaping and been dieting and going to the gym for 2 months and started studying courses outside my college ones, never been so productive in my life, weed wasted my potential
Congratulations Kevin, I've had many many day 1's and have a lot of self hatred because of the failures - this video is good inspiration.
I remember your previous videos near the beginning of your journey and was the reason for my sub - I'm glad you made the follow up!
Nice suprise to hear you're from Chicago - perhaps we could find some opportunities for collaboration.
Thank you! Don’t feel self hatred! Losing our way is part of the process. It’s not always a linear journey.
Yeah dm me on IG and we can connect.
Love your videos keep it up
Thank you! 🙏
To see someone so happy with their decision at 1 year out is so cool
Yes no regrets. I’m glad I did it and I don’t miss it. 😊 I’m glad my journey can help others in a similar position.
@@kdtv94 yea you’re definitely helping keep going bato 👍🏻
@@kdtv94 whats the best thing about quitting ?my only addictions r weed a pussy
Congrats! Great content! I’m currently not in control concerning my relationship with cannabis. It seems smartest to quit for good knowing how out of control I get.
Thank you! That’s the first step. Having that honest assessment with yourself is necessary to begin the process of healing. You got this 😊
Congratulations...🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
Proud of you brother ❤
Thank you 🙏😊
Good job mate, im 1 week today. I really enjoyed youre videos on weed, so thank you
Also stick too one piece aswell, it's the best anime 😂
Haha good luck on your journey! I mean I’m an OG dragon ball Z head (nostalgia goggles are strong) but one piece is right up there with it for me. I’m currently on the Zou Arc now.
LFG
I am proud of you ❤️
Thank you amor 🥰😍

I find it positively influences my creativity. Or does it?
In my experience we overestimate its contribution to our creativity. I don’t feel less creative without it at all. And if anything I’m more focused without it.
I do read more when I don't smoke. 3 days weaning off. I feel good but not sleeping well.
Yeah the sleep takes awhile to normalize. You gotta stick with it for several months before you start to sleep really well.
I also recommend taking magnesium glycinate in the evening about an hour or two before bed. I wish I knew about it before my sleep was already normal because it helps me feel more rested the next day. It might have helped that transition for me if I knew about it. I take that and ashwaganda combined to lower my cortisol levels at night and I find it really helps me get deep rested sleep.
Congrats on one year sobriety man!! I was wondering if quiting effected your creativity and if so how long it took for you to have that desire back for creative endeavors ? Im a photographer too, its only been a week since i quit but I feel like I have no interest or passion at all , and I seem to have to lost the ability to tell if a photo is good or not 😅 any tips would be awesome!
Honestly it didn’t affect my creativity but I did need some downtime from trying to pursue things to just normalize myself.
Creative pursuits by their very nature can be fickle and follow ebbs and flows just like life. Don’t stress if you need some time away from photography for a bit. I think a lot of what you’re describing is really a mental thing. You don’t just lose the photographers eye so easily haha. I’m sure you still know what’s a good a photo. Your mind just might be focusing on other things with the added mental capacity coming back that used to be occupied by being high.
@@kdtv94 appreciate the reply , Its good to hear! Loved that observation about preoccupied mind , first weeks of quiting there is so much emotions and feelings to unpack that its hard to focus or care about creative stuff . Makes sense to take it easy for a bit.
Thanks for sharing your sobriety journey , it helps a lot to get a perspective on the whole thing.
Of course! Glad I can be helpful for those in similar positions
Do you think you will ever touch weed again or is that it the end
That’s a great question. While I can’t know about a lifetime ahead of me I have zero desire to go back to smoking and I believe it’s probably best if I just keep it that way. My life is better without it so why complicate it now? So probably just the end.
Great vid. Congrats. Why not just throw away the pipes?
I’ve since found someone to take it off my hands. I just wanted them to go somewhere they would be appreciated. Felt wasteful to throw away but now I don’t have anything left.
Heyyy bro i left weed 9 months ago but i had facing problems 🥺 how to deal with them
What problems have you been facing? 9 months is a really long time. You should be good in terms of any sort of withdrawals so now it’s purely psychological.
I never saw a benefit in fasting. Now, I've done 96, 72, 48 & 36 hr fasts no problem. I've lost 60# being active & eating right. But, I consume can of buses daily.
That’s great. I’ve never done a long fast like that before. My friend has though and I know he recommends it.
I'm smoking right now, watching you.
Haha all good! Like I said in the video I'm not anti weed for those who can use it responsibly.
you never had paws? im afraid of quitting because of this
I did have some withdrawal symptoms in the first couple months but once I got through that my sleep normalized and I developed a new baseline.
Once you get past a few months everything becomes a lot easier in that regard. By 6 months it’s all about whether you have temptation around you.
For me I didn’t have anyone offering me or pressuring me and I didn’t have any in the house so no temptation and smooth sailing.
The first few months are the hardest and I feel I benefited from not knowing I was quitting for good at the time. I just knew I was taking a break and I came to the conclusion of quitting after a few months because I realized how much I didn’t need it anymore.
Tthis white boy fine lol
💀 😂 my wife thinks so too. Thanks for watching 😊

One more question why do you say your anti weed for yourself?
Hey brotha I know this question isn’t a great question but why don’t you use like every month or so? That’s what I’m planning on doing because the highs are fucking amazing and that once a month isn’t really affecting me in any negative ways other than giving me a really great time lol
Great question. I’ve learned that it’ll never stay once a month. Maybe I could keep it to once a month for a couple months but eventually it will turn into “just this weekend” then eventually “only weekends” etc. It’s not like I’d jump straight back to every night but it would happen eventually. Plus I don’t miss it so why bring it back if it’s no longer serving me?
@@kdtv94 interesting appreciative the response Ty wish you luck on your endeavors
@@kdtv94 I’m on day 1 too so ty your vid helped
Glad I could help. Good luck on your journey! 😊
