At approximately 03:30 on Sunday morning, Phoenix Children's Ambulance Bay Emergency Staff reported seeing a vehicle crash in their parking lot. The occupants fled the vehicle.
Avondale Police quickly arrived in the east parking lot adjacent to the ambulance bay to find a small white car wrecked with property damage.
Per radio traffic when officers checked inside the vehicle they discovered the ignition had been popped and the vehicle appeared to be stolen.
The Hospital was placed in lockdown for the safety of the employees and patients, while Avondale Police set up a large perimeter to search the area for the occupants.
A drone was put up in the area to search for the suspects. Currently, the suspects still remain outstanding.
