So I was doing an hours long large print and at about 3/4 of the way through it the printer stopped and gave this error message - 'Thermal Runaway: Bed. Printer Halted. Please Reset.' Up to this point it was working just fine. I turned the printer off let it sit for a bit, turned it back on and resumed the print. and a few minutes later the same error message happened. I can still print small things as long as they pretty much stay in the center of the bed. The board in my printer is the Creality v4.2.7 The firmware is Marlin 2.0.6 Ender - 3.

Whatever you do don't mess with the bios! Several no name brands like Toposh make them. You will never find driver support!

I have also found out if I printed a great deal layers start failing I believe have a bad Thermistor, I started using it again and small stuff I could print with fewer layers but, when I got up in large prints it would fail. melting or not staying together is a tell tell sign it need replaced.

Clean the termistor instead, if it works frlm the start, it does later as well but get readkng issues by dirt.

That was actually my review at 03:18. Eventually, the PC crapped itself a few days after that review. The BSOD were so bad, that they even corrupt the video (like when you kick a NES while fighting the final boss), making me think it was related to RAM. After the random BSOD, the system would not POST. I reflowed pretty much the whole board (RAM, CPU and chipset), it revived, but eventually failed. Errors occurred even while installing Win11 (oh-oh, not good). I checked components under my thermal camera and found a suspicious SMD capacitor, but that wasn't the problem. Finally, had a spare SSD with W11 installed already (yeah, try that in WinXP), and the thing booted up with all the expect flags under the device manager. Reloaded all drivers provided by the Manufacturer, and there it is, working, no BSODs (tried prime for some minutes, all good), but I'm suspicious one will come any time. I never really suspected the SSD because of the nature of the random BSOD and video corruption, it even checked OK under CHKDSK, Crystaldiskinfo and some other stuff I ran. In the meantime, I will torture the removed SSD (branded middlefinger CO LTD Tech), which is similar to yours. These systems lack badly from BIOS updates, which MIGHT solve some of these issues (currently running 5.13 from 08/04/22). BTW, I'm glad to see that an owner's group was made after all to try work out some of these issues, and if not, at least works as group therapy. :)

E1 is not the bed and E0 the nozzle thermistor? I just replaced it and the problem continues, must be the bed thermistor.

Hi there. Can't find such comment, so I will just ask. I got mine like a week ago. Pleasantly better than expected except one concern - the cooling fan doesn't seem to turn on... ever. I tried updating BIOS, tried removing win 11 and installing win10, but still does not turn on. If anyone had this issue and fixed it, please share. Any further advice is welcome. Thanks

I enjoy this device, but every time when i buy such a brandless stuff, i just export the drivers and keep those in the cloud and usb stick. But for my travels, it is a fun device.

For now, since the hotend and Teflon were new, I also cleaned them, I ruled out any reason related to dirt or accumulation of material. I thought about a bad contact of the thermistor (temperature sensor I call it), since the way of securing the cable and the sensor itself is not that good. I removed the screw, checked the end and then tightened the cable and put it in place. Without putting the screw in, I turned on the printer and the message no longer appeared. I replaced the screw and the message appeared again, this when turning on. I removed the screw and noticed that the sheathing of the cables was damaged. When I put the screw in, it made contact with both (I don't know if negative or positive, maybe it doesn't have polarity, I don't know), whatever the case, I covered part of the indicated cables with heat shrink tubes, obviously I had to cut them longitudinally to be able to put them in. I put the sensor in place and the screw. When powering on, the error message no longer appears. The display appears to show the correct temperature, different from the ambient temperature it appears to show when the sensor is disconnected. Greetings 😁😁)

i have the same, but under name topton.Never had an issue, works well on my travels, updates go well, activation was no hassle. All works just fine. Happy to take with me on travels. Connect in hotel mini hdmi to hdmi, I can stream and do my basic tasks. Wireless keyboard and mouse and i do all my basics on tv, while lid is closed. Not amazing but good.

Can this device print photos with Epson printer?

this is for secondary use.. like a sidearm.. This should never be your primary weapon unless you are in a desperate situation.. Mine is a Plima.. I have both my Logitech MX Mouse and the Plima Pen BT connected to my Macbook. The Plima is AWESOME! I love it.. i keep it in my front pocket of the flannel i usually where aroud the house and can use the Plima from 20 feet away... haven't tried further.. but pick a surface and start mousing with a pen on whim!

what can I do if my thermistors come with no isolation? like, thermistors just with naked wire 3 cm long? i cannot find thermistor like in this video, and i don't want to order delivery from other continent just to repair 140$ printer

Fr might try these out. My work station doesn't really have room for a mouse, and if I could just hold a pen against my leg, instead of use that click pad on my laptop, my life would be so much nicer
