5 Ways to make money online as a videographer
I am a wildlife photographer/videographer and i use a sony a7iii with 200-600 g lens and im really enjoying the quality for my money. but if i had enough money and a professional carreer id switch to nikon right away. Not only great cameras but them being the first with a lens lineup with build in teleconverters is crazy! these lenses are way out of my budget right now tho :D
@@EzyUA-cam that’s really interesting! I had no idea about the teleconverters! See I do video primarily and what Nikon is doing in our space is pretty wild! Overall great for us consumers!
All Nikon has to do is offer REDCODE RAW in Z9 II or Z8 II and they will have disrupted 15+ years of industry trends.
@@jessejayphotography that would be awesome! I think they could definitely do that! I heard nothing but great things about REDCODE RAW.
there seems to be a Z9 firmware coming with shutter angle. Don't think there is any flagship camera that has been completely transformed since release. Yes the A1 was great at launch, but the Z9 is a completely new camera since 2021.
@ I agree. Nikon is putting in the work and it’s paying off. After just having garbage tier service from Fujifilm (both their firmware releases and my personal actual warranty “repair” issues with them) I’m selling my Fuji gear. And loooking real hard a Nikon right now.
I am hoping for a videocentric camera from Fuji with a native s35 sensor in 8k. Also Blackmagic finally has to implement AF in order to compete in the hybrid market, that excuse of being a "cinema" camera no longer cuts. Btw, do you find that the X-H2s has much better dr than the X-H2?
@@nordfresse a box style xh2s in my opinion is all I ever need and wanted! Yes the xh2s has 1 stop more of dynamic range for sure! It’s not a huge difference but it’s there.
And more importantly Panasonic has to walk this camera out sooner than later cause this is the best time to capture some market Sony people were waiting eagerly on fx3ii but no signs of that camera yet and sh1ii can very well be a killer that can win all them waiting on an fx3mark 2,and why not s1h next thing is long overdue but Panasonic is weird
Why would you release the vacuum before diving...this makes no sense, did I misunderstand?
@@KrispyNuggetBoutique the vacuum is there only for testing the seals. You don’t want to suck all the air out of the housing then go diving with it. Imagine all the pressure at 100’ PLUS a suction effect inside the housing from no air.
@ That makes no sense its the vacuum that makes it stay sealed. It’s like 0.2 bars of pressure added to the atmosphere.
nice one
Wait what does that do? The thing you’re pushing?
@@Elvirakondor switches from AF to MF
@ oh cool!
I dont know what about u guys, but I’m leaving pana… I can’t wait no more… waiting for a S1r II from 2 years now… they really need to change their sensor
@@rubeeprod what are you shooting with now?
The game changer for the S1H II has to be if Lumix put in internal nds with little to no colour shift. I doubt they will in a mirrorless body, but god I want them.
Panasonic released the S9 this year. Full frame.
@@diluteduk that’s a vlogging camera. My point is Panasonic hasn’t released anything to compete in the flagship space.
you are right about the 30 second rule
@@ExaltedMediaInc you know what whenever I drink my espresso after that 30 seconds I feel like it becomes way more bitter.
panasonic spent all their r&d budget on employing smooth brain youtubers as part of their marketing team , chasing that social media / opengate / vertical crowd.,.. a proper race to the bottom. you know the real time luts are just so much fun ? their marketing team need sacked off and a drastic course correction needed.
@@jimgiraffe5253 man I hear you on this! Seems like these brands are focusing more on bloggers over filmmakers who spend serious money on their cameras.
Panasonic is doing what they done best for ages, sell cheap camera bodies. The hallo cameras don't really sell and they will release S1 successor when the cheapo sales dry out. If you can't make amazing images with these cheap cameras - the much more expensive camera wont make any difference.
@@CINENIMUS I agree to a certain extent with you… A z8 isn’t $4000 just because it’s $4000 for no reason it’s because it has better rolling shutter, ProRes raw, nraw, good dynamic range, 8k 60, 4k120, great photography these are all things Panasonic does NOT have. These are all tools filmmakers use. It’s not ONLY about making the image look good it’s about making the image look good under any environment. Panasonic needs a high end body because the s5iix is very much outdated compared to the competition.
@@adnan_velic I'm pretty confident Panasonic has made a conscious decision not to focus on high end bodies. It's the other way around, the competition is outdated compared to the s5iix. The competition isn't z8 or 8k 4k120 cameras, that's not the space the s5iix occupies and it's not the space Panasonic tries to compete in. They're doing well catering to the budget market who's willing to live without those features. Providing full frame bodies with good stabilization at a low price is a good idea, the only real world problem now is that the moire renders the s5ii useless for those critical pro shots.
Is it really necesseray to release a new model every year or so instead of doing maybe software updates (when possible). Sometimes, I have the bad impression Camera manufacturers are doing the same thing than Smartphone one, releasing a brand new model each year, but just with a new feature... When I see some models from Panasonic, like the G9, 2.5yrs of updates and after that, done...
@@xanderross I don’t think every year but the s1h hasn’t been updated in like 4 years. I think it’s due for an upgrade actually their entire s1 line up needs a refresh.
S5R
@@BuzzAdven like a high resolution S5?
@@adnan_velic Indeed, I think its just rumours right now.. But honestly, Im not sure how well that would go as high res generally impacts low light and noise performance in video.. So it makes me think its not a good rumour, since the S5/ii/iix lineup has generally been a "video first" camera.
The S5IIX punches well above it's weight and competes with higher end cameras that cost almost double. I bought an S5IIX over the Fx3 because it basically does everything the Sony does minus the higher frame rates. Better codecs, better image stabilization, better colors (yeah this is subjective I know) and it was less than half the price. The S1HII is has the potential to be the camera to beat all other cameras. I just hope Panasonic doesn't cripple it
@@Eric.mov_ the s5iix is a great camera and I mentioned it in the video but it’s not competing with an fx3 in the video department not only in frame rates but also rolling shutter and low light capabilities. It’s also not competing with a z6iii which is the s5iix main competitor and it’s definitely not competing with a z8. My point here was that Panasonic doesn’t have a high end body to compete in 2024. I also think Panasonic is cooking up something special with Arri and I would love to see this match made in heaven produce something incredible.
Idk. The moire/flickering means it gives you a taste of high end but it's also crippled. Production companies with decent budgets won't skimp on the camera, going from s5ii to fx3 isn't a big jump for them. Fun camera for run and gun solo shooters and hobbyists.
@@fredriksvard2603 exactly!
1:30 in 5 Years Panasonic has relesed S1H S1R S5 S5ii S5iix S5D S9 G9ii GH6 GH7
For sure! My point here is that they haven’t released anything to compete with z8, r5ii, fx3. The entire video is about Panasonic HAS to release something to compete with these cameras and I think they will.
The S1H/S5/S5II/S5IIX/S5D and S9 use the same sensor. This is the same story with the G9II/GH6/GH7. Their full frame are limited to 4K30fps full sensor and they still have pretty bad rolling shutter. They have absolutely nothing to compare with the R5/A1/Z6III/Z9 etc.
@@aiseurnae5976 wrong
@@aiseurnae5976 this is a great point and exactly where I was going with in my video. Major crop at 4k60 on the s5iix meanwhile the z6iii can shoot 6k60 and in nraw and ProRes raw for a little more. Panasonic has a lot to catch up to.
In Italy we say Coffee should have the 3 C: Comodo (Comfy), Caldo (Warm), Corto (Short), But shure if you get over 30 sec it's gonna cool down Buddy, Thanx for the "espresso respect", Anyway Coffee a part, awesome video. Rock On!

the underrated lens, with not so cheap cost. it's definitely just marketing
@@AbrahamPaskarela it’s actually priced similar to what most Fuji lenses cost. It’s just a unique lens a lot of people don’t talk about.
I think the reason there's something called 4KHQ in the X-H2 is because there's also 4K non-HQ. The difference is that 4KHQ is oversampled from the 8K sensor, whereas the non-HQ is pixel binned or line skipped. The X-H2S doesn't have a 4K "HQ" mode because all its 4k modes are oversampled from the full sensor 6.2K readout (except 4K 120 which is cropped and sampled from around 4.8K), therefore it's all 4K HQ in the X-H2S. You'll find 4KHQ modes in the X-T5 and X100VI as well (and probably more that I'm not familiar with)
Fingers crossed!
@@StefanoFederici73 tell me about it!
The only thing I can be certain about the new sensor, is it’s going to disappoint some people due to wild speculation leading the conversation around it. Also, Fuji has no shortage of people looking to be upset about something.
How should a 1by1 sensor work ? If you have a certain ratio in size you can not simply use the sensor vertically with the same length you have use for the horizontal length. You would shrink one if the sides. No would not make to much sense. Maybe a true Fuji X sensor for their GFX and not a Sony sensor?
@@christophmartin5381 I guess in my mind I thought about it like what I have in my xh2s a 3:2 sensor. I’m able to “cut” the top and bottom of the image to create the ratio I want. I use frame guides to more or less understand what my image will look like but instead of a 3:2 it’s a square instead of rectangle. I guess in my mind this made sense. An xtrans gfx sensor would be amazing!
Please share which film simulation was used to take these daytime photos or recepies.

@@jcar4522 I get your frustration 100%%% I’ve been dealing with it for months now. I just saw the video where they said they will fix the xh2 and xh2s in November.
18-120 has a huge bug,but fuji didn't fix it now。when you manual focus, choose “focus ring operation”,you will find “linear or non linear” should exchange。if you are a documentary film shooter,it is a huge problem。
@@肖楠-p9x thanks for letting me know! I haven’t manually pulled focus on this lens yet but the focus ring feels quite nice.
I'm superfan of fuji cams, always had xt3 or xt4 for small productions or personal content but i need it other cam as blackmagic for other productions with more budget. But i was thinking to reduced equipment with this h2s but finally for this issues that not appear with previous fuji cam's i will decided to switch to lumix s5IIX. The color of fuji for me is not compared whit this lumix, more beautiful and organic and less sharpeness (fuji h2s) but in general is better option the S5IIX, just in my opinion. Sorry for my english
Great video! May have to try out this recipe to get that vintage look 😉 I’ve been using the Astia film simulation lately and been liking it. Enjoyed the pancake lens too ☺️
@@Will_Speed thank you! 🙏🙏 Next recipe for me is that Reggie Porta! Looks stunning!
Stop using 10 year old glass and expecting modern results. Stop using aftermarket glass and expecting optimal focus. Get the latest Fuji linear motor lenses if you want it to perform like you expect.
@@nativestrong7253 go to 3:15 where I said I used the 18-120 F4. Stop making excuses for fujifilm and accept the fact that Fuji made a mistake in their latest firmware update. Making a mistake is totally fine but taking months to fix it is NOT ok! Also my viltrox and tamron lenses perform BETTER in AFC and AFS than my Fuji lenses.
Great vid, thanks! Do you know if the 16-80mm xf would work out of the box? It is a really similar size to the 16-55 xf, but it would be handy to be able to use the zoom function
@@mutonchops1 i don’t think it will work because the diameter of the lenses are different. I think the 16-55mm is a bit bigger. You might be able to add something in between the zoom ring and the lens to fill that gap. Also I think the 16-80 extends a bit more when zooming so you might hit the front glass of the housing. I think they make a housing for the 16-80 if I’m not mistaken.
UPDATE! Do not dive with the leak detection device attached to the camera. Seafrogs literature is not specific on this and I found later that this device will break eventually and get water inside of it. I was lucky to not have a leak inside the housing. Just use the device to check for leaks then take it off and use the normal cap that comes with the housing to dive with.

Hey what's the best camera for cinema level quality in the price range of Sony FX 3
@@Hyped007 man that’s a really tough one! To me cinema level quality means really good dynamic range. I think for that price range the fx3 is honestly king! It does video very very well.
A possible solution is to roll back to 1.03. The arch nemesis for Fuji AF is (and always will be imo), z axis movement. But what we have here recently is an absolute broken firmware. Fuji firmware is like Lightroom, each update, new features, worse sluggish performance, more bugs and the consumer solution is to continue buying new hardware to cope with badly written code. Really, Lightroom needs rebuilt from scratch, not patched infinity! And Fuji f/w needs completely redone again. We have proof that 1.03 was actually good, so they have a reference and markers as to how it can be good. But yeh... bad Fuji BAD!
Open gate with 14 stops of dynamic range. This camera ended the A7sIII and R5C reign.
