    UPDATE!
Do not dive with the leak detection device attached to the camera. Seafrogs literature is not specific on this and I found later that this device will break eventually and get water inside of it. I was lucky to not have a leak inside the housing. Just use the device to check for leaks then take it off and use the normal cap that comes with the housing to dive with.

Great vid, thanks! Do you know if the 16-80mm xf would work out of the box? It is a really similar size to the 16-55 xf, but it would be handy to be able to use the zoom function

@@mutonchops1 i don’t think it will work because the diameter of the lenses are different. I think the 16-55mm is a bit bigger. You might be able to add something in between the zoom ring and the lens to fill that gap. Also I think the 16-80 extends a bit more when zooming so you might hit the front glass of the housing. I think they make a housing for the 16-80 if I’m not mistaken.

Very informative video mate. I'm only shooting surf from land at the moment with my X-T4 and 70-300 and it's working great!
I'd love to be able to shoot from the water, so this is interesting (particularly after seeing the price). My next lens will either be the 16-55 or Tamron 17-70, so the option of shooting from the water will soon be set.
At the moment, the Seafrog is definitely more suited to my budget. However, I understand there is also an Aquatech version available for the X-T4 and I understand their quality is premium. Therefore, would you wait to save for the Aquatech or feel perfectly fine with the Seafrog?
Judging by the video, I think Ithe answer will be the latter.
    Thanks dude

Hey! I’m glad the video was informative for you! I would definitely get the seafrog if you’re planning on diving deeper than 10 meters/33 feet. I like the aquatech but it’s expensive for me personally however the quality is really nice. The seafrog is also really well made and just can’t be beat for the price it also has more safety features surprisingly.

@@adnan_velic thanks for the reply dude. Yeah I think I'll go for the Seafrog cause I've watched other reviews for both the X-T4 and X-T3 and there seems to be consistency there which has pretty much convinced me it's the right choice.
Is the Seafrog specifically made for the X-T4/Fuji 16-55 combination?
Reason I'm asking is because I'm heavily debating in my mind whether to get the 16-55 or the Tamron 17-70 as the lens to partner the 70-300. The Fuji has better image and build quality, but the Tamron has better range along with the image stabilisation. I know I probably won't be disappointed with either, but if I find a used 16-55 for a similar price, I'll probably get that.
Would like to know your thoughts?

@@nomadictimbo9185 this seafrog case is specifically made for the xt4 and 16-55 combination. I don’t think they make a housing for the 17-70. I’m sure it will fit inside but you won’t be able to use the zoom wheel.
The 17-70 vs 16-55 is a really tough debate. I have both lenses and I’m using the 17-70 a lot more now especially on my xh2s. I love that it has additional stabilization and I love the reach but the image is softer and not as detailed as the 16-55. The 17-70 is also noticeably lighter which I love.
      Image quality the 16-55 is a 10 and the 17-70 is like a 8.

You explain so so so well, and you speak beautifully. English is not my mother's language, yet You made me understand every single word. That is both a gift and a great effort. Thank-you. Besides, what you explained has been very useful
