    I found this camera online with a kit lens for 2799; I had no business buying it, but super happy I did. The IQ and overall depth is immense.

      Congrats! This is such an incredible photography camera. To me this is in a different league compared to anything that’s out there besides the 102mp sensors fuji has.

    Glad to hear your enthusiasm. Totally understandable! I own 3 x GFX 50's 2 X 50s's and a 50sll. I love the output even more than the 102 MP version.

      Oh really?! That’s very interesting to hear. I’ve never used the 102mp ones I just assumed they would be a bit better.

      What lenses would you suggest ? For landscapes I mainly use manual focus and 28mm and 35mm primes on my Nikons. It sounds like you prefer the 50 to the 100mp version?

      @@barriewatts127 A great all rounder is the 45-100. If you want to go wider consider the 20-35 or 32-64. I own all three of the above zooms. All amazing!

    I own the GFX 50s mk2, the camera is incredible. The images are insane. The only downside is the speed, for that I use the Nikon D850. Thanks, great video.

    I’ve been saving up for this for a while and it’s on sale with or without the kit lens. I think this will be a great complement to my D500 for anything outside of wildlife, sports and action shots.

    Hi, nice review! I would like to know how would you rate 50sll autofocus as compared to fuji XT 4? Appreciate your advice! Greetings

    • @adnan_velic
      @adnan_velic  9 місяців тому +3

      Hey thanks! The AF is much much better on the xt4. The autofocus on the 50sii is not good in my opinion however it’s great for portraits. If the xt4 is a 10 in autofocus the 50sii is a 4.

    This VIDEO is right up my ALLEY, i shoot with an X-PRO3 AND THE XT5, I have been interested in this cam to put my HASSELBLAD MEDIUM FORMAT 80mm 2.8 lens to it using the FUJI H to G Adapter. Thank You for this video. Can you shoot BW IN camera? Thanks in advance.

      Yes, you can shoot Acros B&W directly in camera as well as monochrome.

    You could try just the GFX 100 II, which has become a hybrid for both photography and filming and is a faster camera.
    You could even try and make a video of it comparing it to the GFX 50 S II.
    I have seen videos of one person who has already started to make a professional camera out of the GFX 100 II so that he doesn't have to borrow typical film cameras.

      It depends on your workflow. Some folks prefer a manual approach especially pulling focus manually for video purposes. I did however enjoy my time with this medium format camera specifically for that reason. It forced me to really think about the limitations of the camera and pick my shots carefully.

      No it's not image quality is more important than auto focusing. You can have the best auto focus but if the image quality is rubbish then sorry that's crap because you can always focus a camera manually and eventually cameras will focus. I've never had a camera in the last 10 years, not focus it's a bit of a myth it really is and you can still take great photos with the Fujifilm GFX camera with people I've done that with my GFX 50 S Mark to really simply

      You can do just fine with the contrast AF on this bad boy for typical slow moving subjects. Anything with fast motion or heavy telephoto needs, look elsewhere.
