I’m a fuji guy but that nikon is incredible! Just saw gerold undone’s review. Still sticking with my H2s but that camera looks great. Need to see actual usage tests though
For this particular shot I couldn’t use manual focus. The camera was on a gimbal and the scenes were so dynamic and I was just a one man band. Interesting you use the xh2s next to your RED! How do you compare the image quality to one another?
I actually saw this a while back but totally forgot about it. Pretty insane that the image quality is comparable. Seeing this again makes me want to keep my camera to be honest. Maybe I’ll just learn how to manually focus FAST.
@@adnan_velicI thought you could’ve used Manual Focus for that shot, no? There seemed to be only lateral movement, with no distance gained between you and your subject, so the focal plane would’ve been the same. F2.8 or F4 in manual focus in that situation would’ve been solid. I use manual focus for my gimbal work, it’s great for those kind of shots. With anything else, DJI’s focus pulling setup is needed.
@@Eyeofkamauunfortunately it would have been way too difficult to pull focus for this type of work. I’m not experienced at pulling focus manually so this specific work would have been real difficult for me. For something more static and planned yes for sure manual focus would have been ok.
@@adnan_velic A bit but not enough, a friend tried it and it worked plus is seemed reasonable given that all FW have the same size. Don't do it if you don't feel comfortable about it though.

Ohhhh I have to watch his review I love Gerald!
I use the XH2s next to my Red Epic. For an important shot never trust any autofocus... just use manual focus on the XH2s and you're fine?

@@adnan_velic Evan Schneider made a perfect comparison: ua-cam.com/video/EkhyxsOZ2W0/v-deo.htmlsi=mFjXRHw295tT5wKG

Great idea
I think about nikon is well but I waiting for videos and reviews about nikon 6 (3) when people will use for couple months
Will you update to the z6 iii? Video specs looks great.
I’m seriously considering it.
Why not Lumix s5ii ?
I don’t like the crop in 4k60 and I need 4K 120
It worked for me ...
What the firmware rollback?
@@adnan_velic yep, rocking 2.1 ATM was on 5.03 before the tragedy...
@@adnan_velic yes, I'm on 2.1 now
@@Tech_Stuff_and_Other_Stuffyou weren’t afraid of bricking your camera?
