I love how you always wear lovely dresses,I,m inspired now to wear mine at all times, especially the four Laura Ashley dresses which are over 30 yrs old and still as good as new.
Yes! Enjoy them and don't save them for best
giggled about the height of the parasol before it was shortened.Looks good.
It was about too high 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much 😊
I’m a little knackered too lol thanks for sharing your life.
You are so welcome!
Louisa I laughed when you brought put the kitchen knife
I can't tell you how many kitchen knifes and scissors I've went through taking them to the garden!
And my kids were little I would loose teaspoons to the mud holes and mud pies ❤
I'm going to try the chamomile tea bag trick !
Love yall!
That's just like me 🤣 I am always getting reprimanded by my subscribers door not using the right tools but I just grao whatever I have to hand.
So nice to hear about the gifts you share with your friends. Its something my dear friend and I do..her memory is incredible for things I like
It is a really lovely thing to to
That was lovely. Thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Beautiful garden
Thank you 😊
The food looks wonderful.Cherry mustard sounds delicious. Will you show us the dahlias if they bloom?
The cherry mustard is delicious 😊
The little plant at the end is apple mint, variegated.
Yes it is 😊
I would need a close up to see it better, but from the distance, the rose appeared to be the old rambler, 'American Pillar'.
Yes, I think it is. That has been suggested to me before.
Are you happy and you said yes and you asked your husband is he happy and he said Always... Great Video.
He likes to make me happy, as I do him ☺️
You remind me of when I had my own Nursery School on the side of my house, and my husband (now divorced) was always mentioning how things kept going missing from our kitchen, to be used in the Nursery! Like sieves (to use in the sand pit) and many other kitchen items! Like you grabbing what is handy to use in your garden, that is just what I was doing. Kitchen knives are very handy in the garden, as they have a serrated edge, and are nice and long, as you found, it was just right for the job at hand. Your garden looks so vibrant and lush, everything is loving it there, and all the rain we had has helped. Now we are desperate for some rain in West Devon, and I am having to water all my plants in pots, which are many. The river near me is very low too, but I think we have some rain to come in the next few days! xxx
It's hard to believe that another part of the country is so dry. We have had nothing but rain for days. Sending my rain your way.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Thanks. All we have been getting is missel rain, but there is some on it's way in the next few days I think. xxx
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Lovely you can eat au plein air, Louisa! The meal looked delicious
We have had so few opportunities to eat outside but we always grab the opportunity when it comes ☺️
Very enjoyable vlog. I also enjoyed that beautiful communication between you and Mark when he put up the umbrella. Sometimes the vibe between the people in the video is awkward to watch. What I mean the communication. I enjoy the the tones of communications between you and Mark. Lovely gardening vlog. You show it to us as natural as can be and that makes your vlogs different and enjoyable.

Thank you. That's lovely feedback. I think Mark & I just carry on in front of the camera as we would off camera. It's not scripted or thought about. It's good to hear that it's a VLOG style that's enjoyed ☺️
So loving your planting
Thanks so much 😊 It's come to fruition, just as I'd hoped.
Your garden is looking so fulsome with all that summer growth. I like all your clay pots on the rack, so nice to see, reminds me of being young.
Thank you. My herb garden has amazed me. It's established itself so quickly
Great video, it was the bees knees. Hope the dahlias grow into plants and the chamomile tea bag seeds germinate.
Oh thank you. What a lovely, kind comment.
Hi Louisa, just some advice re your dahlias over winter. I have several at my allotment plot. I never did well storing the tubers over winter in newspaper in the greenhouse. For the last 4 years I've cut them back left them in the ground and covered them in straw plus a waterproof covering over the top to avoid frost damage. So far so good, I've not lost any. Looking forward to seeing what happens with the dahlias but it's looking positive xxx
I do that too. There aren't enough hours in the day, so my stance on easy gardening is they survive or don't survive. If they don't they shouldn't be in my garden ☺️
Hi Louisa ! Your stock garden is really charming, I seen a lot of wonderful garden items !! I have been weeding too, and it is so rewarding to see the difference in the garden after a good weeding !! Your water pond is so cute , love the solar water feature. Do you need to add water often ? Mine always seemed to evaporate ! What flowers do you have growing in your "Cut Flower" garden? Your family cook out look yummy. I am going to a cousins picnic this Saturday , kind of like a 4th July in the park! Looking forward to seeing you again !! Blessings Paula
Thanks Paula. Your picnic sounds fun! ☺️ To answer your questions - we seem to be having so much rain that my miniature pond requires little or no attention. On hot sunny days I top it up every week or so. As for the cutting garden, that's next year's project. This year I have just added some sweet peas, cosmos & dahlias to my herb garden so at least I will get some cutting flowers.
Good evening! Your garden is looking wonderful 👍☀️💧enjoy 🍷in garden 😊
Thank you! You too!
What a lovely clay pot with that Cherub any backstory? Memphis Tennessee 💜
They're actually vintage hand thrown Italian pots which are on my website. I very often plant something and then sell the pot ☺️
A delightful video. Lovely to see your stock garden. Am sure your dahlias will thrive now, will be interesting to see.
Take care xx
Time will tell 😊
Hello I love your videos. I grew up in house that was being rehabed. So I know what it is like. I have the same glass candle sticks as you have in your kitchen. Can you tell me anything about them?
Sorry, I really don't know much about the candle holders. I bought them in a charity shop I think 🤔
Thank you.
😊
It's perfect weather to finish your bathroom at last.Isn't it?
We are waiting for the shower to arrive. We can't do much until that has been installed. Things have been going on behind the scenes ☺️
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle 🤗🥰
😁😁😁
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle You are unbelived patent and charming⚘️
Some things can't be rushed ☺️
Why he throw everything on top of the roses oh boy
It's a storage area - the roses have grown through it
