We followed a delightful walking tour, exploring famous movie locations from classics like "Notting Hill" and "Love Actually." After soaking in the cinematic charm, we headed to The Cross London for an exclusive summer fashion launch event. We were thrilled to attend the launch of New Day Originals, a sustainable fashion brand renowned for their forever dresses. I loved quite a few ! My problem is I'm only 5' 1 so I'm looking at which style I can shorten without spoiling the lovely line of them , my daughter is getting married next June and even though I'm 78 I refuse to be the old Mother of the bride and can see me wearing one for then ! 🥰

What a lovely trip especially sharing it with Immie. It is amazing to think how house prices vary throughout the UK. When I saw those lovely properties, all I could think of was how many houses you could buy here in Norfolk for the same price of a London property! I always remember Portobello Market from my childhood as my dad had a business a few streets away. in the 60's it was slightly different to how it is now. I always think fashion which last for decades is well worth the initial investment and never dates either. Your dresses always look so timeless whenever you wear them. The clothes you tried on looked lovely on you by the way. Thank you for taking us along with you Sophie.
I dare not even look up the cost of houses in Notting Hill. I think I would just prefer to dream.

Those White Houses
.I remember when I was little in Liverpool in the 1950s our street would book a coach for a trip down to London .I remember staying ina B and B in a similar house .I don’t know where it was, it seemed to have a few floors .They had a little terrace out the back with a pet owl named China .Ive never forgotten as it was so different to the house we lived in which was a red brick terraced house .

I often think its a real shame that norfolk does not have great transport links to london etc etc,never understood why no motorway was ever built.
The travel network is a shame when we want to travel down to London but then, that's what makes Norfolk so unspoilt & beautiful ☺️
