Pale ale. Again in our 5 ingredients or less series. This is a great style of beer allowing for a lot of experimentation. In this one we go rogue and brew with a dark crystal malt, stetching the definition of a pale ale. Having a very late hop edition brings this brew back intop style. Brewhouse and kitchen - brewery experience day with the ginger brewers

So, Dan and I paid our money and moseyed down to Brewhouse and Kitchen for a brewday experience. We brewed 1000 pints during the day and had a fantastic time with the head brewer Alex, who was extremely knowledgably and made the day fly by. With this video we tried to show what the brewhouse and kitchen brewery experience was really like. We had beer throughout the day, a bacon sandwich on arri...

I have a Heineken mini. So me that. Or is it the same. Cause mine doesn't look like that.
Nice to see you cover uk and america. I see theres a lot of dirty criminals in the comments. You know what they say cant beat them join them
Absolutely 🤣 are you uk, stateside or neither? 🍻
@TheGingerBrewers I'm UK but was seeing a lot of videos that just covered the US
I’m thinking of getting the klarstein ( not sure if 25 or 30L yet) Could you do it with no spare? Just raise the grain basket and let it drip out while to get up to the boil? Thanks.
Most packet yeasts only brew 23 litres. Does this help you decide? Or.... would you prefer to have a pump? Does the 30 come with a pump? Thanks for the question bud. 🍻
hey ginger brewers, how is the brewing going? what is your impression and experience with the new all in one system? cheers!
Thanks Saint nick, not brewed in a while tbh. Dan is working away a bit and I'm doing a house renovation. Hope to get back to it soon and we'll record it for you and probably the other veiwer we have left🤪 Thanks for asking matey🍻
Thanks for sharing guys
You're welcome.... thank you for the comment.
I’m curious, did your kettle have a screw on hop filter on the other side of the tap? I’m always suffering from blockage when I open the tap, however I’m using a hop bag and was wondering if I need the filter at all? I’m guessing the blockage is caused by particles from the grain?
Curious.... are you crushing your own grain?
@@TheGingerBrewersno, it’s a Brew Bros recipe where the grain arrives ready to use. I think the filter holes are so small it’s easy to block, I’m tempted not to use it but afraid the pump would suffer.
Was interested about Homebrewing and came across your video. Made my day. It was so fun to see you both doing that and looks like extreme fun ;). Cheers!
No worries Matthias, glad to have you on board🍻cheers
Clean and sterilization? It's alcohol!
🤪not a beer brewer then?
hey ginger brewers i hadn’t seen you had a video out it s great to see you again, and brewing with your new system!! Thanks for the app, had a look at it on android and now on ios it s brilliant. let’s see cwtch! it s the second you throw away. cheers!
Hey fella, how's it going? Yes I think we have a very strict schedule of 2 videos per year🤪. Glad you are enjoying the app, Dan will be pleased... it's his baby. Cheers🍻
What sanitizing fluids did you use? I’m thinking about getting some of these kegs, but I didn’t really understand from the video in how to clean them. I know first you use water, but what liquid did you use after?
We use sodium percarbonate. It's a no rinse save sterilisation fluid. You can also use it as a cleaner. 🍻
Thanks for sharing. This is very informative.
No problem, glad you found it useful. 🍻
Criminally undersubscribed channel this! Always walk away from a Ginger Brewers video that bit happier.
Thank you for this comment. It spurs me on to make more vids...🍻
more shenanigans great to see you back 🎷
Cheers Gary, great to have you on board.
hi guys, i made wheat beer but for some reason the pump filter under the mash bed filter was stuck with wheat pieces, previous i made an IPA and it didn't have the issue, is that because of the wheat?
Just ensure you get all your grain in the basket and the crush isn't too fine. We have brewed with wheat a few times without a problem. Happy brewing 🍻
Anyone had probs with doing the ABV calculation on the iOS app? Can’t seem to use the decimal point as it’s not allowing it on the keyboard??
Sorry about this Chris. Dan said he'll have a look when he gets a chance. 🍻
The colour of that at bottling looks amazing (6:41). It doesn't quite look the same when you crack em open to rate (or was that just the lighting?). I'm very new to homebrew, but I want to try this one.
This one was an experience! 🍻
Sois geniales , desprendéis un buen muy buen rollo
Muchos gracias!
welcome back - great to see a new video!
Thanks, too kind. 🍻
It's great to see you back guys, yes please on the cwtch. I'm thinking of buying a plate chiller, compared to the emersion coil how efficient is the plate chiller
Hi Chris, depending on the number of plates you get it's dramatically cuts the chilling time down. 🍻
Could you use this kettle for heating up raw milk to 62c for 30 minutes to pasturize it,thanks
Absolutely you could. Set the temp to 62 and the timer for the 30mins and it will time 30 after reaching temperature. Only thing we have found is the temp can differ from top to bottom and will shoot past or drop down a couple of degrees. Let is know how you solve your problem. 🍻
Great to see the videos back, hopefully more to come. Bring on the cwtch
More to come - but not the Cwtch as only on 4 requests... phew😅🍻
That a picture of you on the thumbnail? 😛
No chance... That guy is much more handsome🍻
Quote of the video it’s safer sitting in the pub 🤣🍻👍OMG I absolutely love the app been waiting for iOS release I’m going to use it all the time. Great to see you back cheers 👍🍻
You and me both! I hope to start watching the brewtube again. Cheers Rick.
Great to see ya back, love the IOS app...Keep on brewing
Thanks! Will do!
Great to see a new video guys you where missed . Thanks for the mention. Graham Lawlor a bit of a tongue twister after a few beers 😂. Cheers 🍻
Thanks Graham and sorry for butchering your name 😀🍻
Good to see your videos coming back! Great fun! Show us the Cwtch!! 🍻
Cwtch is up to 4 so I need another one!🍻
Been too long (mind I haven't brewed since December!). Nice updates on app.. Let's see the cwtch
Get the kettle out sausage! You're the first to ask for the Cwtch vid. 🍻
Glad to see you again guys!
Mr Bertram - thank you for tuning in again Sir🍻
Nice to see you brewing again.
Thanks for hopping on board. Cheers🍻
i want to see that cwtch brew being brewed
Very very very happy to see you again guys!!!🍻
Too kind Sir, cheers🍻
Another great video gentleman and so glad you’re back! And the app is now on IOS 👍👍👍 Keep it up!
Cheers Chris, hopefully another in a few weeks.
Definitely going to give this a go. Looks amazing
Cheers Ian, enjoy. It was really nice.
What do you do if you push in the cork when its brewing? I know the brews fucked we theew it all away but anyway to get the cork out? Seems like a lost cause
You pushed the rubber bung in? Are you commenting on the right video😳
I just bought a mini keg. Plan on using it in my current beer. I usually mix the new beer with sugar solution in a bottling bucket (3oz of sugar for 3 gallons of beer) and siphon into bottles from the bottling keg. You guys use the same ratio of sugar to beer in Mini keg and bottles. How’s that work for you. In other videos they suggest using less sugar in the mini keg
Meant to say bottling bucket
To be honest it works fine and we vary the amount of sugar based on the type of beer. Play around and see what works. If using a bottling bucket I don't see how you can use less in your keg and more in you bottles....🍻
Hello guys. What's occurring? Sorry, couldn't help myself 🙂 Any more videos in the pipeline? Love your stuff. Also, I'm another Klarstein purchaser due to your videos., so you must be due a kickback.
😆😆😆😆Christmas day there is another episode. I drove past the terrace last week it has a plaque on it. We have another few videos in the can of I can only kick my family off the computer long enough to edit them😁🍻
Just bought myself the Klarstein kettle you guys used to use, you’ve both massively inspired me to get brewing asap, planning to start my first ever home brew next week 😄 been binge watching your videos too - just waiting for the next one now 👀 keep up the good work!
Cheers Dan, now I have two Dan's life😁 We still brew in the klarstein when we brew at my place. Nice to have you on board🍻
@@TheGingerBrewershi guys, just finished my first brew on this kettle, when taking an OG reading, it looked very gunky/lots of floaties in the sample jar, any ideas why? Is that normal? Also, it started out the right colour for a NEIPA, but when put into the fermenter it has gone a browny colour, again any ideas? Cheers guys
Was it just me or did step 2 not exist?
You are the first person to comment on it😁 Step two is a stand alone video. The link is on the screen or you can find it on the home page. Thanks for tuning in.🍻
Hopefully still using the klarstein all in one
Yes big brewing. Vids at my place in the klarstein, vids at Dan's place on the big boy...
@@TheGingerBrewers i have watched every video you have done and even ordered the klarstein 35l to move onto all grain brewing. Great video you both do
Great to see you back at it lads looking forward to your videos
Cheers Graham, took a step back for a few months. Back to making and watching!
@@TheGingerBrewers I no sometimes it can consume all of your time and then you drink it all 😂 so a break is not a bad idea
Good to see the lads back👍👍
Cheers dude, thanks for the encouragement.

Cheers Si, you are one of the OG's!
Welcome back missed your videos
Cheers biggbrewing 🍻
I wasn't sure how to spell it. or even how to pronounce it, so I found, from Wikipedia; A colander (or cullender) is a kitchen utensil used to strain foods such as pasta or to rinse vegetables. So I'm hoping that your next instalment will not convince me that I need to go out and buy a colander (or cullender) as I've spent more on brewing equipment already than I can hope to drink in money's worth of beer in the years I have left... :)
😄😄😄😄😄🍻
Great to see you guys back! 😊
Yes bass Mike. You are one of the og's
The best water in the world. Give it a few hours for the chlorine and flourid to settle. Stupidly all over the world. How about filtering the water first via using steam, and your water will be the best in any country. Dumb dumb.
Oh, bit harsh......🍻

Are you guys still brewing? I haven't seen any new videos for a while...
Not through lack of trying my friend. We have brewed a couple of times in the last 6 months. Work and family are getting in the way🤨
@@TheGingerBrewers Thanks guys. I will look forward to seeing your latest when posted. You are by far favourite brewers. I recently bought a Klarstein Mundschenk and plan to use it tomorrow for the first time. Fingers and everything else, crossed.
I do so enjoy your videos chaps. Keep them coming!
I always told Dan we had one viewer who enjoyed 'em 😉
