Hi Sean, If I was to pick a beer out of the book to do again it wouldn't be that one. It was OK but we just brewed the stout again and that was lovely. The pilsner is fab and we've brewed the House pale ale about 4 times now. Let us know what is your next brew is and how you get on, cheers!🍻
I never unsubscribed! I thought you'd stopped making videos then saw you commenting on someone's channel and clicked on your profile and there were loads. I checked an my notifications were on "Personalised" and guess how many recommends it gave on that in a year? None! I changed it to All after that, and did it on a few other channels, too. That's a couple of calamities you have with the chiller, hope it doesn't escalate. Cheers.
Yeah!!!! He's back in the chat! Missed your insights buddy. Never stopped.... just slooooooooowww. Still trying to keep this you tube thingy fun. Talking of slow - looking forward to seeing your next gem. The last I saw you fixed a sucking machine - very creative. Take care, the gingers 🍻
Hey ginger brewers great video! That’s is going to be our next brew! We never dry hopped before how did you do it, put the bag in 3 days after fermention has started and after 4 days take it out and keg or bottle?
Hi old saint nick - sorry for not replying sooner, Dan and I both thought the other was going to reply. Nothing fancy on this one, opened up the fermenter and chucked them in after fermentation was just about complete (4 daysish)! Have a look at David heath homebrew for proper dry hopping methods. Good luck with the brew 🍻
@@TheGingerBrewers thanks for the tip, I was trying to understand when to dry hop, after 2 weeks or just 5 points before end of fermentation. Did you check the gravity before you dry hopped? Beer looks good! It s going to be the first beer we ll brew other than a bitter. Did it taste good? We ll brew it hopefully in 2 weeks. How was your speckled hen? Did you brew a Christmas beer this year? Cheers
Hey ginger brewers! Hope you are fine! We bottled the red brick it will be good to taste in 2 weeks! We brewed a black sheep with water chemistry this weekend and will compare it to the one we made in December. What will your next brew be? Cheers 🍻
@@Oldsaintnick1 Hi Old Saint, we have a brew day scheduled for tomorrow night (Friday) so stick your head out of your window at about 8pm and you might smell the malt🙄 Going to brew a bitter with the rest of the garden hops and an SO44 yeast. We have another brew day video in the next week or so, just waiting for it to condition so I can add a tasting section to the vid. Black sheep sounds lovely, we probably need to delve into the dark art of water chemisty. Take care my friend.🍻
@@TheGingerBrewers try water chemistry 101 by the yeast and the beast. it is easy how he explains it. at 8 pm on friday i will try and get the perfume of your brew 🤪 i love that smell! I haven’t tried SO44 . Have a great brew day!!
@@THECRAZYLI0N Knowing what we know now I would say spend the extra few quid. Don't forget you can always brew 20 litres in a 35 litre kettle but you will never be able to brew 30 litres in a 25 litre kettle. 😉 Weight wise???? Brew with a mate or set up a pully system, the grain bill on a standard 35 litre brew would be too much for me to lift by myself. Hope this helps Crazy L...🍻🍻🍻
Er... oops.... Sorry about that. Didn't mean to mislead😏 Although we are looking at 70litre boil kettle and a brew shed in the next couple of months. Vids should be out in the summer😉 Thanks for stopping by again Tom.👍🍻
Love it again lads. Don't ever change 👍
Legend - Cheers Sean 🍻
Love your videos 👍 cheers guys
That's very kind to leave this comment - thank you. 🍻
I'm in the first 1000 subscribers! Woot!
Hi Lukasz, to be honest we never thought we would reach 1000 😲 Thanks for the comment 🍻🍻
Excellent vid......I may give that brew a try as I have that boot and it does sound like a nice beer

Another quality video Guys nice work looks like it went down a treat at beer club cheers👍🍻
Cheers Jimbo, thank you for the kind words. We have another keg ready with 19l of Amber ale. No date set for beer club though, so.......
Great vid lads. I’m getting up at 6 am on Sunday to do a Maris otter harlequin smash.
Hey Si, set the start delay to heat the water and get up At 7😏
Let us know how you get on with the harlequin hop. Never used it and it's a new variety I believe...
@@TheGingerBrewers will do
As far as I've read.. you can brew/distill pretty much anything in the uk, as long as its under 20% abv. Or you're supposed to have a license.
Thanks for the info, I wonder if we can get a one-off license???????

Hey guys, which size kettle do you have of klarstein? Cheers
Hey Crazy L, we use the 25 litre and it boils down to 23 litre fermentable. 👍🍻🍻🍻
@@TheGingerBrewers would you say for €35 the 10L extra volume would be worth it? Or will the grain lifting be too much?
