I recently found this out myself the hard way when I went to try to rewatch it. Absolutely awful. Apparently Darker than Black is in the same situation, no way to stream.

I wanted this to be the last video I put out in 2024 on Houseki no Kuni which turned into this weird UA-cam Pants (I don't know I am testing out the new feature). So sorry for the notification ping, this time it was on purpose lol. Only certain stores in the motherland (Japan) had this promotion going on at the end of November when the final Volume 13 came out. Jules managed to pick up Volumes 1-11, 13 and special edition 13 for me in Tokyo and shipped them to the states. I've seen 2nd hand online stores reselling(?) these so you can pick them up that way. I didn't need the regular edition for Volume 12 since I had gotten that when it came out back in 2022. But this seemed like a better time than any to actually get the Japanese volumes for Land of the Lustrous. We will be waiting for that announcement for when the English Volume 13 comes out ideally in 2025. Hope you have been well since the manga ended in April. I'll see you in less than a week :)

This is the penultimate chapter and video on the ongoing release for Houseki no Kuni. Some thought this was the final chapter so please keep that in mind while watching.

This chapter and video marks the end of the beginning for serialization of Houseki no Kuni after a 4 month break between Chapter 105 (Oct 2023) and Chapter 106 (Feb 2024). Please keep this in mind as the contents of Chapter 107 and Chapter 108 had not come out at this point in time.

This was the last chapter of Houseki no Kuni in 2023 as the series went on a break from Chapter 105 (Oct 2023) to Chapter 106 (Feb 2024) and was considered by few (not as many as before since the note at the end of 105 stated that it would return in the Spring) and can be considered a conclusion similar to Ch 95, 99, and 102. Please keep this is mind while watching.

This video was released around September 2023 without the context of future chapters so please keep that in mind while watching.

This video and chapter was released after a 3 month break between Chapter 99 (Nov 2022) and Chapter 100 (Feb 2023). It should be viewed with that context and up to material in Chapter 100 and nothing beyond.

Chapter 99 is, like Chapter 95 and other chapters take come later, treated almost like the series had ended there because of the roughly 3-4 month break that Haruko Ichikawa took between this and Chapter 100. Please keep that in mind while watching this video.

This video came out weeks after Chapter 97 of Houseki no Kuni first came out in July 2022. The concept for this was not mine to begin with but the friend that shared it blew my mind so much I had to put that out like this. Even after all this time, this chapter is something I come back to all the time because of this connection. Of course please view this video without the context of future chapters as they were out when this was released.

This video was released a few weeks after Houseki no Kuni came back from its longest hiatus from December 2020 to June 2022. There is a chance you are watching this beyond that initial release which is understandable since UA-cam deflates video age in an annoying way, but this video should be viewed with only the context of material up to Chapter 96 of the manga (as looking at it in hindsight is interesting in its own way).

This video came out 1 month after the longest hiatus was announced in December 2020 between Chapter 95 and Chapter 96 (which ended up releasing June 2022). As in, this video existed for a long time until newer chapters came out. There was a point where even myself believed this could be the last chapter we would ever get of the manga. So please keep that in mind while watching this snapshot of the community/fandom at this point of time.
