ALI kinda resembles Tha Chill, haa.
Everybody overtalked and outtalked Big Hit. Im tryna learn his story as a new fan, and I barely even got to hear his voice. Yikes!
Yooo What about Da Coathanga Srangla and Dinner and a Movie Bangas no skip play.
Steven Spielberg 😂 I think Steel meant Wes Craven
Yellowman still the man! Quadruple O.G. Don't forget King Mello & Purple man. Albinoism rocked the world with their incredible Charisma & Calculations
I'm glad he was honest about alcoholic shit.... I think Totally Insane, IMP, cold World UDI, were really drunk as well when they made a point... It's cheaper to go that way then end up like Shock G
Eiht was right about what he said at the end fr fr
Look up cultural assimilation and acculuration. Its as if Marcus Garvey never started the largest civil rights movement in Harlem, Malcom X parents werent west indian or Garveyites , that influence his thinking. As if Farakhan didnt make calypso a form of toasting in Harlem in the 40s. Jamaicans didnt migrate to harlem in droves , it was the first borough of influence for west indians. Charlie parker didnt improvise sly mongoose a old jamaican folk song done in mento a form of toasting. As if Louis Armstrong didnt say westindians played their own form of Jazz , and he had them in his band. That said we Jamaicans give credit to the american influence on our musical cultural expressions, we copied dee jays , that we head on the radios , tried our best with the american accent to toast over records, built sound systems to compliment that and slowly moved back to our patios , while we exported sound system culture around the world from the 50s to 60s. Yes it ended up in NY, manifested itself on the 2nd borough jamaicans moved to in droves the BX. Lest i forgot Harry Belafonte was the first African to sell a million records and he was loved by black americans . Is it ironic or strange the BX where Jamaicans migrated in droves in the late 60s early 70s hip hop developed on its own without any jamaican influence ?.
13:24 Ok so this pod came across my recommendations because I'm a fan of DJ Hed, the fact that this was released a month ago and the dude to the right said "It's been two weeks , we need to get past the beef." Knowing that the Pop Out was last week, and Kendrick just shot the Not Like Us video...lmao it's not going anywhere no time soon.
Was this a MC8 interview
Dope Podcast and interview ✌🏾
Uh oh Uh oh Uh oh. Story on the history of the St Lunatics is changing (Ali K Jones spitting stories of inclusion now). Meaning he is not saying "I WROTE THE WHOLE THING". What does he want? How much awareness does Nelly really have?? Gosh, shake hands brothers and move forward away from each other. The fans love Nelly. He is happy and energized. Ali K Jones packs mega toxicity. Fans are rooting for Nelly --he is a rascal but well loved. Hope he is not sucked back in with the big talented north side gangster cry-baby noise. Do you know what I am ;sayin'? Nelly did not leave the St Lunatics --he brought them with him for a long time. And aren't they with him now in select performances? Did they not ignore him in the beginning? (D2 deal?) Love and happiness to all the brothers and their families. Four things that come not back to any of us (1) Time, (2) the spoken word (3) a spent arrow ; and (4) a missed opportunity.
Lynch is in my top 5
Dope interview. They both the truth. Surprised Big Hit doesnt know Spud.

NWA came out before the write your own raps era, as did sugarhill gang. The write your own raps thing started in the very early 1990's. In the 1980's, many did not write their own raps.. Reason why hip hop became a thing of write your own raps was because the industry frowned upon hip hop. The rappers wanted to show they were worthier than the singers from the then pop culture who heavily relied upon writers/ were not allowed to write their own songs. MJ used to hijack songs from the writers and pay them to keep quiet
GREAT INTERVIEW
Steele is a very patient host 😂 Eiht know he can talk 😂

Spanky Loco = Blacks have stolen Spanish culture Typical Passive LA brothers = Interviews Spanky 😂😂😂😂
Hes been lost all credibility years ago
Lynch has been my favorite rapper for awhile. I was supposed to see him live in Indy with Tech, but the show suddenly got cancelled. Luckily, they still did the meet and greet outside the venue. I brought a stack a Lynch CDs for him to sign. It was when he first signed to Strange, so I think I was one of the few fans there to see Lynch.
Salute Mr Mixx.. Florida Family
