This is the problem, people are putting friendship before business. So, when things don't work out, the person feels deceived or lied to. If Ali wrote Country Grammar as he says or at least contributed to it. The fact he failed to secure publishing, royalties, writers credit and other compensation. You can't get mad because you accepted nothing. Whoever I do business with or loan money to" which is rare ". I must have a signed promissory note with complete details. Friendship is one thing and business is something else. When one askes for a loan, always assume they are asking because they don't have it. A loan or line of credit is given when one doesn't possess the necessary cash on hand. If one doesn't have the money to begin with, then how are they going to pay you back. Ali is bitter and it's understandable, he chose friendship over business and got fuked. That's his own fault for believing in someone that he had no prior relationship with. Friendship, trust, honesty, and loyalty is earned over time. People need to stop trusting people they just me and expecting something they dint have to give.
I hope they work it out I hate this for them smh
