MC Eight just explained how BLACK AMERICAN ARTIST had to BEAR BRUNT of the NEGATIVE BACKLASH from Hip-hop. WE had to build the culture to the COMMERCIAL level of EXCEPTANCE we are today. Just for NON BLACK AMERICANS to come and benefit from OUR labor and laying the ground work.

That’s the case for most genres that Black people brought to life. Go down the list. Rock, Jazz, blues, Soul, RNB, funk. etc.

I see what Steel was saying. It’s odd that The Game dissed Rick Ross. It seems like The Game is more of an ally to Drake than Kendrick Lamar, which is odd because The Game and Kendrick are both from Compton. It felt like The Game was siding with the opps. I still found it funny that Game and 50 Cent was both dissin and trolling Rick Ross.

13:24 Ok so this pod came across my recommendations because I'm a fan of DJ Hed, the fact that this was released a month ago and the dude to the right said "It's been two weeks , we need to get past the beef." Knowing that the Pop Out was last week, and Kendrick just shot the Not Like Us video...lmao it's not going anywhere no time soon.

MC Eiht is definitely the Dopest🔥 Rapper from the West Coast. I'm from the Midwest and East Coast and We Always loved MC Eiht and CMW. And when Eiht was battling Quik, we All was Riding with Eiht, we even was trying to attack Quik at his shows for Eiht. Eiht definitely Won dat battling just like Kendrick beat Drake. Every Hip Hoo Artist shouted out Eiht from Q-tip, Tribe Called Quest, EPMD, Mobb Deep, Gangstar, ODB and Wu Tang, De La Soul, KRS One, Nas, DMX, The Lox, etc. And during the East Coast West Coast battling no one from the East Dissed Eiht in fact we protected MC Eiht. We took Eiht from the West Coast. Eiht is Ours.

Podcast UA-camrs are like Brand Names it’s not about facts per se, it’s the personality you choose to get your news from. You watch CNN you gonna get one type of view, and FOX News gives you another angle. Imagine if Fab 5 Freddy had a podcast in the 80’s or 90’s it would be super lit AND factual. Today’s personalities are not necessarily hip hop purists.

Kendrick was destined to show the difference between exacting the human condition versus fabricated fronts through pure Art. Aside from Dot's discography, his disses display lyricism and musicality at the highest level. I respect him for having integrity. The fact of the matter is: both Drake and Kendrick are two global icons that have impacted lives around the world. In my opinion, Kendrick won this battle. 4-0. I Wanna Be Heard is a perfect way to Introudce new fans to K-Dot. Been a fan since I was 10!

Mainstream media has ALWAYS, misrepresented Hip-hop. Since the beginning, there's been weirdos trying to be the voice of the culture. Like when Vibe Magazine literally CREATED the East coast West Coast beef. Because the East Coast ALWAYS has love for the west!

If anyone thinks Drake won, simply look at the biggest differences between both artists: depth and substance. This is how I rank the Big 3: Kendrick, Cole, and then Drake. Let's see if Drake can become an ever greater artist, a better man, as a result of these musical therapy sessions.

I agree with Steel about TDE, I’ve been listening to them since 2012. I’m glad that they became a big name in the music business. My favorites are Kendrick, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, Reason, and Ray Vaughn. The R&B artists are dope, but I just don’t listen to them much.

Don’t ever fight with anyone who never been punched in they mouth 🤣🤣🤣 Djhed
Bruh how real of a statement is that, that’s reality check is something eles you move different when you been snuffed, duffed out, jumped, juxed, you move a whole lot different when you been snuffed for something you said you don’t talk unless you can back it, and a lot of dudes who don’t talk know I been the yapper and once yapped the wrong words got my ish rocked for it, and I also been on the end of ish that I did yap I spoke facts got jumped, if you gettin jumped it’s not because you yappin, it’s because you speakin some facts, there’s a difference that people don’t know when you get jumped forreal like dudes trying to kill you make a statement thy trying a silence you for speaking facts, if they jumping you duffin you out showing off you just yapped too much now you gotta get touched, this generation don’t know the difference real strong men don’t carry a weapon cause they know the knowledge and experience they carry is stronger than any weapon which is why when people be talkin they just stay silent catch dude slipping and send a statement like David shut up and stop yappin cause bruh i promise you don’t want me to catch that case over you, if im able to catch you like this and warn what makes you think that Gods going to block me from catching you while you see me comin?
Djhed for real said best don’t fight with dudes who been punched in they mouth 🙏🏾
