Lynch has been my favorite rapper for awhile. I was supposed to see him live in Indy with Tech, but the show suddenly got cancelled. Luckily, they still did the meet and greet outside the venue. I brought a stack a Lynch CDs for him to sign. It was when he first signed to Strange, so I think I was one of the few fans there to see Lynch.
Signing to them was a mistake. His music was fire and then it went to shit as soon as he signed with them
He said that Strannge pretty much revived him and allowed him to express his artistic creation.
Brotha Lynch they was bumping you in the SAN FRANCISCO GROUP HOME WHEN I 1st started working there.
What group home did you work at?
Yup. I was in there. 33rd & when I went to Vallejo group home. Him, C-Bo n the mob figas. “The block movement”
The crips in Seattle had Lynch amped up!! 💯✌🏾
Those was the days in the 206. The Crips turnt the city out in the 80-90's

Phonk Beta had lynch shyt riding. #salute from the midwest!
In Kansas City we grew up off Lynch C-Bo all the Northern Cali and Bay Area music at the same time we were well connected to LA since King T Ice T NWA and by way of Gang Culture … as a result we tend to be more familiar with the 2 sides of Cali than most! We are in the middle of the map so we started off Jazz n Blues then gravitated to the Eastcoast rap forefathers and we groove with the south since the 80s too … so we Gamed up like the Playoffs
Same here. Growing up in Youngstown, OH & Detroit, MI. We listened to everything but gravitated to the Cali rap. Lynch, Bo, Hollowtip, Luni Coleone, X Raided, Eith, NWA, CMW, & many more. The culture was fascinating. Shout Out to all the OGs!! Much luv

Eiht and lynch need to do a album together in 2024.
Another one...
Lynch albums still hittin. My sons in their 20s & they banging lynch like it came out yesterday.
Usually I fast forward through interviews, I listened to this entire interview. Three real G’s who most of us listened too to help us through our pain, in the 90’s. I’m a Die Hard Lynch fan and Love and respect MC 8 “Nothin but a Gangsta”. Stay up my people.
That’s deep when he said everybody from the original album “Gone” I felt that.
Salute to LYNCH! I still bump LIQUOR SICC!💪🔥

Fantastic interview IMO. I really enjoyed listening and listening to understand.
Ask about Zag, ask how baby mama drama affected or inspired Lynch's creativity. Ask about Mr. Doctors disappearance from his music scene! Right after Season of da Siccness, Set'Ripin Bloccstyle came out & both albums were Lit Af 🔥, almost neck & neck.
Great interview. Interesting how Lynch said he made Kevlar a bit more like Loaded. That's the vibe I got from it.

The game given that I took away, and I think others should as well, is the fact the educational system (whether formal or informal) isn’t prioritized (and should be) by most aspiring to be make it big. Leading us to the issue we see today, being we trying to recoup, when we could of knew yesterday how to move wisely with our talent and payouts. You don’t gotta wanna be nothing, but study the winners … they are where they are because of what they prioritize. Same goes for the losers. God bless y’all OG’s. May us youngsters continue being able to reach y’all, and soak up all the game that y’all possess.

Damn! I ain't even recognize Eiht til he started talking! I'm glad to hear these legends dropping knowledge for us young cats and dropping some history. I'll be 27 on the 13th of July but I grew up on this old school real hip hop shit
The thing about rap and age is if you're not established in the rap game by the age of 40 it's going to be A very hard hustle because you don't make much of your first album you have to reinvest in the next one and people like lynch and eiht started at a young age being a og in the game is cool but being a og trying to get in the rap game might not work out that well so don't quit your day job just yet these guys been in the rap game for 3 or 4 decades just to get where there at now much respect. I got all the albums u both made and all original no bootlegs keep up the good work regroup with C-BO
Much respect to BROTHA LYNCH HUNG, a great interview .

I remember reading a murderdog magazine interview lynch did back in the early 90s and he said that baby killer was a metaphor because everyone has a mom and is seen as a baby in their eyes
My theory (at 15) was he rapped hella horror style like that so if one day he got caught up for a murder he could plead insanity 😂
I had that murderdog too. It had a few pics an shi. Was dope
To see X-Raided on a song with Rakim is so dope!
