After you used the strainer on your material, did you notice that suddenly all of decent size pickers you were panning out before disappeared? I believe that’s because you strained them out. Yeah, I know you checked but apparently not well enough because it definitely appears to me that those strainer holes were smaller than the pieces of gold you were panning out before.

Congratulations, you found more gold than the ten others ive seen do an entire dumptruck load of sand, including the one in Nome Alaska! And it was big fat flat gold likemyou dont normally find in sand! Amazing! Almost like it wasnt real!

I hope you reran your tailings on a different system. Your riffles were very clogged and considering how much flour gold was present, you lost a lot of gold. Also, you ran dry material, which is a big no no. Guaranteed you will find gold in your tailings. Probably a fairly significant amount.

That was at the old pg&e building at #1 market street.

I worked in construction on an old San Francisco building a few years back and noticed gold sparkles in the old concrete. Ill never forget it. Of course it could be been pyrite, but I just didn't think so. That old sand may indeed habe been rich in small gold.
