1 Hour Plus FPV Flight with Tail Cam, Bixler 2. 10,000 ft altitude.

Got some good winds today and climbed for 15 minutes with almost no throttle input. Got so high that the sun came back out (at 4:30 on vid). Peaked out at 10,000 feet and my tail camera battery died right at the top. Overall flight was just over 1 hour with 3.7v/cell left on the battery. Could have flown much longer but it was getting too dark to see.

Wow nice job!!! How did you get over an hour flight time? I have the same set up as you far as Bixler , GoPro, transmitter, antenna, etc. What is your all up flying weight? Battery size and number.?

Used a 4000mah lipo battery and a 1400kv motor. But also had really good wind currents that day.

Works great. Cant beat it forth price either. Doesn't have a home arrow or RTH but it will get you started.

what kind of radio do you have? what equipment do you use to make the plane fly that hight without losing signal? thank you.

probably a uhf module, and long range receiver , and a big gain directional video rx antenna on the ground, pointed at the plane. pretty standard stuff.
