Trying another food delivery system, this time Purple Carrot which happens to be vegan. We ordered two meals each serving 4, the portions were definitely large enough and the recipes were easy to follow. The byproduct of candied citrus peel is a fantastic syrup, you are getting two for one with this recipe. This sy...

Potato & Cheese Pierogi Filling
Переглядів 6533 роки тому
The simple and original way of making the potato and cheese pierogi filling. It is the most authentic way of making this Polish dish, no cheddar cheese, no jalapenos, please! Just potatoes, farmer's cheese, sauteed onions, salt, and pepper to taste. If you want a little more umami taste you can use Maggi or in my opinion, a better ingredient is a good quality soy sauce. Neither is what your gre...

You will never again need to or want to put eggs and animal fats in your dough. I promise! The amount that I used in this recipe yields 40 large pierogi. Ingredients: 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour 1 Tablespoon of...

Well I decided to make this recipe because I thought maybe it’s some family recipe or grandma‘s recipe whatever. But I found it very frustrating because you use the coffee cup as a measure. How much is in that coffee cup? So I used a one cup measuring starting with 2 cups of flour sifted. Then you don’t say how much water to use. So it looked like it was a 2 cup measure so that’s what I used. Oh my God, I kept having to add flour and add flour and add flour I must’ve used 5 cups of flour before I got it to be smooth and not stick. Why don’t you work this recipe out with exact Real cups of flour in exact measurement of water. I make a lot of ravioli and gnocchi ,and my own pasta and I’ve made pierogies before but I decided to try your recipe.
