One of my favorite soups growing up :) My Dad loved it so. Mom , not so crazy for it and really didn't like to make it...but she did. She always called it a dirty job LOL . Hard for me now ...only one to eat it. I would have to scale it down so much. Maybe someday I will try.

Yes, it can be a little dirty and smelly but once it is done it's so worth the effort. I would recommend making the soup and freezing it, that way you can enjoy it over time.

Daniel Way's run of DEADPOOL featured a story with Flaki. An elderly Polish lady paid him for a hit with two pots of her home made Flaki.

I have tried the Italian Trippo, I have tried the Filipino Callos.. Nothing beats Polskie Flaczki!
Great recipe (Edit: except waay to little garlic)!
    Pozdrawiam Rodaczkę
Edit`: Having a bit of a wekness towards La Cucina Italiana, I add some tomato paste to my Flaczki. Try it! You won't regret it.

You forgot to add the half onion on the burner and then throwing it in!

John, you are correct. Burning the onion would have added even more flavour, I wish I had a gas stove as that would make it so much better.

You never said a word what kind of liquid that you put in the pan with butter and flour ? You put in 2 times that liquid without saying what is it.

Trunk Pham thanks for the comment, please go to minute 14.25 where I do describe what that liquid is. It’s basically the soup that I cooled down and added to the Roux and then combined with the rest of the soup.

Proszę tak nie krzyczeć, następnym razem będzie bez zasmażki i bez flaków tylko z grzybami. Jakie grzyby można użyć by zastąpić konsystencje flaków?
