The graphics are quite good for early 80s, Shame there's no music, It's not a great game but definitely playable, I agree they were pretty harsh with their ratings

These feels like a game that’s scope couldn’t match the technology of the time. Mad props to them for trying and like everyone has been saying it does look like an early GTA game! They got the impatience of New York drivers right though 😂

Well it looked like GTA was born on the C64 to me🤣 Think the 40% crash rating may have been generous though it wasn't totally awful but far to annoying with the constant car crashing and walking between the hospital and garage, could have been good this👍

An early open world game with a garage and a hospital most visited 🤣 I don't think I could have played it as long as you did Richard mate the car crashing into the back of you would have made me rage quit 🙂👍

Hey how did I miss this video, only saw it as an up next from BC2. Loved Ironman, the Speccy port was decent but wow this one looks way better! Doesn't look far off the SNES version which became my go to later on. Great vid buddy👍

It's a shame about the controls being twitchy and the game not being up to much mate as the graphics were nice. At least you can say you have played it now though mate have a great weekend 🙂👍

Hey, i remember playing this game a little bit on my Commodore 64 as a little boy back in the late 1980's. In fact, i must have been 4 or 5 years old 😹.

Picked it up as a kid, still have fond memories of the game. I think it rubs shoulders with Tetris as an early puzzle game that stands the test of time, of the few truly deserving a modern remake.

If you like the top down racers, I recommend Slicks. I remember loving the demo off of a magazine a long time ago.

Used to love this as a kid, I've never played this port but The graphic music and gameplay look and sound great, I think I had this other couple of systems back in the day and I can remember a standing cabinet At An arcade I used to go to, It had 4 steering wheels with acceleration pedals and brakes, It was so much fun to play with my brothers and mates especially as I believe it was only 10 or 20P go 😂 Fantastic video well played I hope you re having a wonderful weekend

Huge fan of off-road racer and pretty much anything similar. Played this loads on the speccy and amiga. Personally, I always played with keys, found it a lot easier.

Well have to say that looks a fantastic port in all respects, up to accelerate not ideal but that's an issue with plenty micro games I only played console versions of this and it's a great little game You did alright there considering you thought you wouldn't 👍

The C64 has done an excellent version of this game mate it's definitely a very close conversion of the arcade game. Looks just as good as the console versions so nice to watch mate 🙂👍

This doesn't look bad at all Richard, although bloomin tough to score a goal by the looks of things. I actually have this, came bundled with my Speccy that I bought a few years ago but I stored it away somewhere as was pretty sure it'd be crap😂(from what I've read the Speccy port really was).

I was 4 or 5 during that World Cup so vaguely remember it but I recall loads of neighbours an communities in Dublin going crazy whenever Ireland got a half decent result haha, well played Richard the USA robbed you there, a phantom goals and only half a match played, that ref was mad on his whistle as well.😂 Nice video buddy.🕹⚽️🌍🍀

Well you played this for longer than I could have done🤣 Looks fairly terrible but not sure any footie game from this era has aged well at all, don't think these kind of things is where the micros shine, was good at the time as there was nothing better but not aged anything like as well as a single screen game for instance 👍

Not sure what to make of this, I mean its a near 35 year old game and football games have come so far since then. Mind you it was only 3 years after th8s we got the first FIFA game so things were already quickly moving. Track down Italy 1990 (the US Gold one), think it may be a bit more playable than this. I revisited Microprose Soccer in the last 2 years, its not aged brilliantly. Emlyn Hughes is the one to go to snd see how that plays, that for me was the kimg of C64 footie games back then 😊👍🐻
