Zenji - Activision 1984 C64

First (well second) play of Zenji, a nice puzzle game released in 1984 by Activision, and then again in 1987 on the Firebird budget label, which received an excellent 91% review in Zzap.

Picked it up as a kid, still have fond memories of the game. I think it rubs shoulders with Tetris as an early puzzle game that stands the test of time, of the few truly deserving a modern remake.

Yes mate me too I don't think many kids were into these games as it felt like school work 🤮🤣 I love a puzzle game now 😁👴

Looks like a cross between Pipe Mania and the old tabletop game Downfall🙂
This was on Speccy aswell but don't think I've ever played it.

True story, I sometimes load 128k games in 48k just to avoid the tunes, even when they are great AY tunes.

Activision has brought so many great
classic games for the Atari 2600,
Commodore 64 and Amiga 500.
PITFALL is still THE BEST 😺👍🕹️!
I remember playing ZENJI a little bit on
my Commodore 64 couple of years ago.
Kinda challenging 😹, but brilliant 😺👍🕹️.

So many legendary Atari 2600 games -
including DECATHLON, ICE HOCKEY,
