Looks a great version mate I used to have the mega drive version years ago and this one holds up well against it. That boss looked savage at the end 🤣👍
I have played DOUBLE DRAGON I-III on my Amiga 500. The first game was cool. The second is THE BEST 😺👍🕹️🕹️!! And the third is OK. I even bought DDII for my Commodore 64 in a compilation called FISTS OF FURY (CiB, tape) in 2023 😺👍🕹️. Sadly, i haven't tested it yet 😹. I better give a try as soon as possible 😹👍🕹️.
This looks and plays ok mate, I've got the original big box Zx Spectrum version on disk, and I think its decent, nice to see the 64 version though buddy 👍
@@retrotap I’ve got two and about 30 games, I’ve replaced ram chips on both and reflowed solder joints. But as of yet there still not working🥲. I’ve also got the c64 maxi which I really love (need to do a vid of it). Are you getting the retro games spectrum?
@Retro-cabin probably not, I got a KS2 Next so I don't think I need it. That said I wasn't going to get the C64 mini or maxi but ended up with both 😂 How about you?
@@retrotap I’m a sucker and a big kid definitely getting it😂 I think mainly to support these companies as I still can’t believe we are getting new 80”s tech, and I will probably use for a bit and go straight back to original (still love using cassettes) and another thing for the shelf🤣.

@marcgoesblindgaming2076 there's quite a few multi platform gadgets about mate, but for those systems a Raspberry Pi and Emulation Station would work a treat - check out RetroPi if you are interested. There's a new spectrum machine coming out soon with 48 games and ability to load more off usb 👍
@@retrotap Yeah stew from generation pixel Has ordered that new speccy With 48 games, I don't know why I said I haven't played 42 decades I actually already have A Spectrum Vega, Preloaded with a 1000 games, Unfortunately half of our text games And most the others are random rubbish, Does have jetpack though And I managed to figure out how to Put Joe blade, Great escape, Bubble bubble and chase hq onto it, I'm not very technical so find it A little tricky to set up emulators But most of all because I know it will be time consuming to find all the wrongs I want, I think I may just do the easy thing and pick up The V-2 elite emulation console As I know quite a few people now who have it And they can't stop singing its praises, It's easy plug and play, 70 systems and over 20000 games, Should keep me busy ha ha, Plus Most of the games run perfectly and have been upscaled Plaster controls have all been set up to work with a PS4 controller Which is my favourite so That's the most likely direction I'm going in
Call me crazy but I have never been keen on Double Dragon and never saw what the fuss was about, compared to Renegade it seemed rubbish to me at the time. This does look decent but I've never played 2 on anything 👍

Always had a soft spot for double dragon and it's sequel.
Not a patch on renegade but a fun game nevertheless.
The original is an arcade classic but not very good on the 64. Renegade gets a lot of love I've noticed - I'll give it a play soon.

My favourite was always Final Fight, but that didn't port too well to the 64. Renegade is great 👍
