Im telling you straight up ive been at this for 4 hours now and theres nothing that keeps him locked in the animation. The running into the corner doesnt do a thing. He also dodges sleep pots like crazy. After his second phase its nearly impossoble to get the window to hit him with 2 rotten breath. Not super sure this guide is valid anymore.

Idk why people use builds like this, being able to delete 45k off an enemy isn't fun, you barely get to play the game using smth like this

Choosing savage attacker as feat doesnt make sense as half orc get that by default

You can also use the 'Barbariana Wild Magic Boon" for additional 1d4. Increasing by a always +1 (max of +4) It also stacks with guidance. Grab a hirling and pump them pinto Barbarian. At level 3. You can then get 2 more hirelings for extra uses. Use the Turn-trigger feature to keep your boon on longer. Happy Thieving. ;)

Im going further then this build. im going full arcane swordsman build. its already doing 1k a swing. an the knights set does not give the best results with the carian blades an bow sadly. an i went wrench an you end up with more stats then any other characters. if you going to max lvl then it won't matter. but im struggling in cause my vigor is only 20 an i need more still. it really hard at the beginning. 60 is always minimum of 60. also the Dlc has some stuff that would push this over 4k damage.

Pretty good build but my question is why not use "Millicent's Prosthesis / Rotten Winged Sword Insignia / Shard of Alexander / Godfrey Icon" "Godfrey Icon" instead of either "Sacred Scorpion Charm / Two-Handed Sword Talisman / Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman" since it would buff "Euporia Vortex (Euporia's skill)" by 15% without the damage from "Sacred Scorpion Charm" and it's also better since the scorpion is only 12% and icon is 15% and it does stack with Alexander's shard? Also for the buffs "Howl of Shabriri" is a body buff and the skill of the "Sword of light" is also a body buff so they don't stack, instead the "Sword of Night" skill applies a -20% holy resistance to enemies and with both it gives you a +40% Holy damage overall.

Do I need the Carian Knight sword for this because mine has sadly disappeared :(

First 1,5 minutes made it sure I'll never as a mage. This doesn't look even remotely fun to actually play.

I know it was explained why we use Great Swords for Carian Sovereignty, however, for the Carian Grandeur Build before we get to this point, why not the Carian Knight Sword? I know Magic Infusion on a Great Sword is better, but what's stopping you from enhancing the sword with Scholar's Armament to keep up with the damage output? I guess it'd be how projection sorceries work. Does it really not consider buffs on your weapon?

Something that's worth mentioning is that stormblade scales best to the keen affinity. The storm bullet will do ~5-10% more damage on the keen affinity than on an occult or bleed affinity.

Love this build. Played through up to altas plateau with a guts build but wanted to switch it up. Definitely an adjustment going from breaking everything’s poise but a great challenge

Storm blade is a great AOW, used it on a Flamberge. It gives you some nice flexibility which is really what I'm after on certain builds. I'm just about to wrap up the DLC in the next week or so (I believe). I found it great, and for me I ended up changing my build-crafting to be more evenly split between offense and defense; which in turn made the entire thing quite fun instead of challenging. I share my build for you quickly because I know you enjoy it :) Based around level 175 I think, maybe a bit more but; Vigor 60, Endurance 50-60, Strength 54, Arcane 45 I was wearing the Solitude armor set w/Black Hood Cycled a couple weapons but for the main it was Blood/Occult Great Mace w/Upward Stamp; can't stess how useful this AOW is as when you initially enter the it you duck down either missing the attack altogether OR getting hit but taking heavily reduced damaged > then you do something like 42 stance damange + 20% from Deenh spirit (if needed). Mix that up with some regular attacks and you're breaking stances like crazy giving you heal or riposte time. I've tried almost every weapon and I still stand behind the Great Mace, it's Arcane / Strength scaling is top tier and the reach never disappoints, I hit things I think I shouldn't frequently which is everything sometimes. Talismans; 2 handed, Lord of Blood, Dragoncrest/Stamina bump, flex (sometime bullgoat to get over 101 poise is the best, or more HP recovery or stamina) The icing on the cake with this build is these three things though; offhand BlaspBlade for passive HP recovery, Deflecting Tear & Malenia's GRune. The tear makes it so guard counters take zero damage if done properly, IF not though your failed guard counter/attack will be replensihed by the great rune. You also have full access to the Dragon Communion Seal if needed. Sometimes I just swap to Milada/Eclipse GShield for fun also, or even the Solitude Sword and play similar to above because it has something like a 89 physical reduction on guard which is insane. Anyways, it was really well done and I'm glad I jumped into it.

Best guide I seen. Have been doing the rounte on my 3rd character. Just find out Square off is a very good ash of war in this run and haveing fun. 5hours in about to go volcano😊 thanks a lot.
