just a note for unarmored defense,. you CAN wear a shield and maintain the unarmored bonus. this iss not a bug, its dnd 5e rules as written. monk class is thhe only unarmored defense that specifically doesnt allow shields
I'm downloading this game right now. I never played BG1, but I played the hell out of BG2 and the Throne of Bhaal expansion, plus Icewind Dale 1 and 2. I still have the original discs. I almost never played barbarian in those games. But now I'm going to spend my first playthrough pretending my barbarian is actually a rotten duelist from Elden Ring. I keep hearing that this game is magnificent. I'm looking forward to finding out.
Wow, you've delved into way more RP isometric games than I have! Although I did spend a good amount of time playing Neverwinter Nights a while back. Since you're already immersed in this game genre, Baldur's Gate 3 will likely be an absolute delight for you. Im going to try this out! I have no experience in this type of game so I was just going with what felt right. My barbarian is strong but missing something and this video covers that :) thank you
It would sacrifice a feat, but I was considering 7barb and 5 in rogue/thief as the thief gets uncanny dodge at level 5, reducing any damage taken by 1/2... with the bearheart resistance and this reduction, it would seem to be a tough character to hurt.
how does Frenzy attack work if you are using two weapons to begin with. do you get to choose Frenzy attack or just a normal Bonus Attack for dual weilding?
If I don't want to use Auntie Ethel's hair, what would you suggest the ideal path be? 16 STR at char creation and use ASI at lv4 to go to 18 and skip Great Weapon Master? Or should I leave it at 16 and take Great Weapon Master at lv4?
@@KimoChaser the one you’re wearing at 6:01 when showing the different passives for the Wild Heart. It shows you wearing that armor for majority of the video
@@IcedUpGaming I was almost done with the game at this point. I just simply retrain my character to showcase the different abilities and features. I certainly didn't get that from early levels. You can confirm that if you paid close attention to some of the early game footage I captured in the video.

Well it certainly fits the roleplaying style as a Barbarian.

Choosing savage attacker as feat doesnt make sense as half orc get that by default

Set Strength to 16 and get Great Weapon Master at level 4 and later you can go for "Ability Improvement" to reach 18 Strength.

take 1lvl of barb and 11 of fighter, no rage for you but at least you have dialogue options

Well, why would you want a wisdom higher than 10 as Barbarian?
Is it viable to go into thief multi class for extra bonus action?
I would say the Fighter multi class is stronger but Thief is also viable.

@@IcedUpGaming You can respec your character at Withers (skele guy at camp) Many youtubers do this, so they can walk you through your level ups.
What did you pick for the 3 manuvers at lvl 3 for fighter?
How did u get 21 strength with level 4?
