Man the Beatles really knew how the make music. Listen to how locked in their harmonies are. When will the leading rock/pop act in music ever be the most innovative and forward thinking again? Soon I hope

The guitar lines demonstrate more of Bach's Brandenburg influence on Paul. Dual harmony leads being yet another Beatle innovation. Among my top favorite Beatles songs.

This may be the best version of the isolated vocals of this song-so much emotional expression comes through.

If you lived through the time of the Beatles, it's like it would have been living through the time of Shakespeare, except way better because they were accessible to everyone in the world. And while Shakespeare was the Big Bang of literature, they were the big bang of music. Both of them encompassed the whole of human life in their art, but the Beatles were all about making people feel good. Shakespeare, for all his genius, wasn't particularly about that

The most amazing thing about all Beatles songs is no matter how you slice and dice the instruments and vocals, they are always musically great! It’s Absolutely Astounding!

Just stunning to hear without the instruments "cluttering up" the sound. Their voices so pure, and the harmonies locked in.

Written by Ian Iachimoe. The same Ian Iachimoe who supported the satanic London Underground Cult in March 1966. The same Ian Iachimoe who, along with Barry Miles and Peter Asher opened a bookshop in London called Indica Gallery. The same Ian Iachimoe who produced The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band's only hit I'm The Urban Spaceman under the pseudonyme Apollo C. Vermouth. Ian Iachimoe is in my ears and in my eyes.

This song hit home personally for me. My older sister who had a very turmoutuous and sometimes violent relationship with my father, threatened my parents that as soon as she turned 18, she'd be leaving home. My Sister kept her word, she left on her Birthday. I remember when my father and mother came home, they were frantic and upset, they couldn't believe it. One day a few years later, I was playing "She's leaving home" in our Basement. My mother who walked by to do laundry, stopped dead in her track, hearing these lyric's in this song. She looked visibly confused and upset. There was a lot of tragedy and dysfunction in my family growing up, and this song highlighted our reality. My older sister is now 69, an old woman who's life was marred with drug addiction, and severe mental illness. Both my parents are dead and gone. Whenever I hear this song, I still cry.
