I'm looking at doing this on a lake near me
You gave great advice.Pretty much the same in Md.you were on point with the numbers and all.Im going to subscribe and learn more tips
Good morning everyone, Amazon Relay is subjecting to the minimum the companies associated with them that remain below A + to force them to take loads below the price, it plays with the needs of each driver, on the other hand they no longer want to even respond to you in the dispute causing a bad score for the entire time that they make their decision to respond. I have a peculiar case in which a driver for medical reasons had a load rejected, after disputing it, since it was a medical emergency practically outside the Amazon warehouse, the driver had to be transferred to the emergency room due to his symptoms. AFTER THE DISPUTE they say it was controllable by the driver...... After I contacted them about the injustice, the 6 weeks passed by which that rejected load should already be updated and to our surprise we are going for the 7th week and they have not updated and they do not respond to my emails either, I have been waiting a week for them to respond. Thousands of things are happening at Amazon, from them wanting to upload up to 15 pallets knowing that only twelve fit, and if you don't do it, they threaten to reject it. This is the bread and butter at DAl9.
ngl the orange and white beard works great with this business!
There is no way anyone with any sense would drive for Amazon. They are predatory and they will strip you of your autonomy as a company. They steal biodata from you and they lie about everything. Then after you as a naive person drive your truck for them, they will just decide to not pay you and make you fight for your money. Find a real broker and find a dispatcher if you can't handle the amount of calls you would have to make to land your own contract with a shipper. These Amazon nuts think THEY are the carrier and you are their driver but the FACT is that YOU are the carrier and they are the shipper and receiver. They have no business taking your picture every leg of the load. They have no business micro managing your company. They have no business giving you NO OPTION to negotiate the rates. They have no business telling your truck where it is going or which truck you as a company decide to put on a load that you are contracted to pull. Then when you get there, their tech is trash, their app is outdated, their phone people don't know anything and you will get ZERO help from them when (and it will) something goes wrong. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM unless you are stupid. They need to be federally regulated. They are too big, too predatory and too ignorant to manage this much stuff for this many people and rob them from point A to point B. Tip #2= Stay away from apps no matter what especially Highway. Stay away from factoring companies unless you run over the road coast to coast. Tip #3= Only do no touch freight. Nobody is going to fix your back or pay your bills when your lumbar spine pops a disk and it will. Most of these people stack the pallets to where they will fall on you, so never move freight yourself. Tip #4= There are people that will lease or sell you a trailer. Power only freight is good, but it's not that good. Tip #5= Do not lease purchase ANY semi truck. We call you people green. Only a sucker that is homeless would do that. Tip #6=Do not lease a trailer. I got a bunch of them and I would let you come get one and put it on layaway. Just don't tear it up. Tip #7= Who ever told you there was money in trucking was lying to you. It's like entertainment businesses... Huge overhead. Huge initial startup money. Feast or famine. What comes in goes right back out. You can't have only one truck and think you made it. The key in this game is 10 trucks. If you don't have 10 trucks, you might as well go get a job. See, if you get $10,000.00 a week, which you can... The rule is halfs... So to make $10,000.00... $5,000.00 is going to the truck. So then you have $5,000.00. Out of that $2,500.00 is going to insurance and other BS. So you end up with $2,500.00 for yourself per week. You get to keep 1/4th of whatever you make. So most people will brag about $10k a week, and borrow from Peter to pay Paul. The industry is set up for a solo driver to make $50k per year. That is $1,000.00 a week. Hustlers can make $3k per week and trust me that aint much in trucking because any and everything that breaks starts at $500.00 so you will be putting out at least $20,000-$25,000.00 per year just on tires, hoses and basic bs. If something else breaks the starting price is $3,000.00 per incident if you know how to fix trucks yourself. That is why the FEDS should do something with these ignorant brokers who think you can run a truck in 2024 off of $1.50 per mile. The most miles you can legally run is 3,000 miles per week, so you do the math. They are throttling your money and laughing in your face while stealing from you. Brokers have only been around for a short period of time. Truckers and shippers need to get rid of them. The industry does not need a middle man and NOBODY should ever haul AMAZON freight unless they are flash loads during Christmas or short hauls that pay $7.00 per mile or more.
Thank you
Thank you !
Nice advice ! NO BACKING UP (when possible). Low liability is 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Seasonal demand, not seasonal vehicle leases. Instead of starting with a creepy white van, until you can afford something better... use a bike cart.
ROGERDAT on the lying youtubers😅😅😅
Great advice, I have a box truck and wanted to do an ice cream truck.
It says 50$
Do I need health permit ?
Once you get the necessary permits to sell ice cream, are there rules/limits of where you can and can’t go?
Since the Trucking Industry is completely dead I'm actually considering driving an ice cream truck, in my city they have Craigslist ads stating you can make up to $300 a day.... However it looks like a difficult gig to get started with
I just did it 40$ now thanks
Can I drive my rig during the week and do this on the weekend?
Can you help me with insurance next buddy

My grandkids and I are working on building an ice cream truck trailer that I will pull with my car. I have everything figured out so far except, aside from the grocery store, where can I find a distributor for individually packaged ice cream bars? Great video, by the way. Thank you.
I've been living in this small town for 14 years. The first thing I noticed is there is no ice cream truck. The ice cream man was one of the highlights of my childhood and id love to bring that joy to this town, but I have no clue where to start. Thank you so much, this video was a tremendous help.
I would immediately think you only sell sherbert ice cream.
I have been wanting to do this for years out here in north jersey a friend of mine also did this and keeps telling me to do it. Exactly what he told me you have also just verified it to be very accurate from everything you need to get started and the amount of money per month. This video helped me make my decision as of today im goin to do all the paperwork necessary!! Great video and thank you!!
the gahh damn costs up front are not cheap kids. The van, licensing, wrap or graphics.. LLC, insurance, freezers, generator(s) cables, Square POS or such, maintenance and more. Yes you can make some good money but you need $50K upfront.. and if your area doesnt have year round summer like weather, its seasonal and that's maybe $10-$25 K a year. Not much money overall unless its a side hustle.
I agree with most except for the van, use any van you can afford, just do inviting colors, i have a g-van ice cream truck and my kids and teens love it. ty for the video
what size generator are you using and where did you install it on the van?
Awesome idea good job man
Thank you, extremely helpful. I am new to the freight broker industry and just getting started. I've come across quite a few companies who charge annually for the same one-time fee as you mentioned. Look forward to learning more. Thanks for the recommendation. Cheers!
Thanks man! I just filed for my DOT and got bombarded with calls from other agents charging alot of money. Im glad I came across your video. Very well explained.
Thank you
Can I sell from my SUV
Do you have a video already on the UCR?
My first icecream truck was a creeper van. Got it on FB market place for 600. Cleaned it out and sold icecream for 3 summers. Average of 800 a night.
Are you serious ??? Wow ! I’m a single mother with two kids that can’t afford daycare or baby sitters I’m highly considering the ice cream truck business
@@ForTheCulture93same girl
@@desserteyes6978 I have a friend that’s an ice cream man He tells me to go ahead and do it He says he makes about 300 a day I mean you still have to buy gas and restock ice cream But honestly if it works for me this may be my retirement plan .
Thanks for the clear and concise explanation!
Can I carry my lady gun that’s registered in her name with me having concealed carry permit
Knoxville is a great area for Amazon frieght now!!!
Love your video! I want to know, how do you price your ice cream?
Where do you buy the pre package ice cream?
How do you get power in the vehicle for the freezers?
If I’m only going between Illinois and Indiana, can I appoint myself (living in IN) and appoint my parents (living in IL) and then submit the BOC-3 myself?
Interesting …thing is a sleeper birth is a place to sleep obviously but a box truck doesn’t really have one unless you can retro fit one like a semi truck so in reality it’s pointless to have 2 drivers for one box truck because you can’t optimize the 22 hrs a day to drive maybe have a piloted car with sleeping arrangements preferably a hybrid for fuel efficiency follow with 2 drivers doing 12 hr shifts or speed ahead to a destination to swap people out and sight see this would still be cheaper than getting hotels along the otr route they would be under the radar because in reality there the hotel on wheels just an idea a good hybrid gets 40plus miles a gallon so so that’s well over 450miles 🤓
Thank you
this just seems impossible, we are lucky in our area not to go further into debt each year.
10 grand a month. Sure if you are in a busy park or at the beach. But on the streets I dont believe it. This will be my 27th season. 22nd season in my own truck. And I should be starting next week.
Thank you so much for this information!!!
Very informative. Thanks for tips and knowledge
I’m a lawyer looking at starting an ice cream business! Small world!
