I had failed my rank up to KOG 4 times… using Monarch Blue-Eyes, Aqua, Psychic and Giastrike… all of them were to Harpies… I feel like Harpies is tier 0 if you brick lol.

Yeah the dark matter deck is really cool but because it's still missing quite a bit of the anime cards it really does feel like it's still missing some pieces to make the deck truly work

It's been a while, but we already have a new Meta Report for Rush's Duel Links. - I feel like LIGHT Machine Deck will lose steam when equally powerful Decks come along that can outperform or challenge it. However, I will say that, out of all the Decks, LIGHT Machine Deck is the Deck that has the most potential to improve over time and still be relevant (unlike things like Aqua Deck or Icezark Deck) - Whether it may be exaggerated or not to say that Psychic Deck is Tier 0 or 1, there is one thing that is true: CAN - Melo:D and its combo is too powerful. Not for nothing any Deck that can abuse CAN - Melo:D is still used in the real Rush Duels format to this day (the gothic loli only needs her trusty accomplice, Thunderbold, the Blazing Thunder, to be a Tier 0 with ease in Rush's Duel Links) - I feel like Cyberse, Royal Rebel's and Overlord are going through what I call in Rush Duels as "their time of relevance is coming to an end". That means that they are Decks that were strong before, but now they are not as strong. Not because they were nerfed or lost important pieces, but because the Meta does not favor them much (better Decks and other strategies). In that case, they need support to stay relevant or not lose it (I mean, remember all the times where new Decks are mentioned that can match up or have a strong matchup against Cyberse: basically, anyone can beat Cyberse nowadays) - Rush's Blue-Eyes and Rush's Monarch will take time to become viable due to their own cards, compared to combining both Decks. Blue-Eyes will have an easier time since its Structure gave it everything it needed to succeed (Monarch needed two extra waves of support to be viable in the Meta) - I feel like SAR won't improve any further, unless they give us Trap Cards for Spellcaster, some Darkness cards (which is only possible if we manage to get Otes) or with the arrival of Fusion (but this would indicate a change of Skill) - Ironically, Dragon, Rush's Harpie and Wyrm Decks can become more powerful in the Meta if Konami decides to give them the best Early Rush Duels support or Modern support. Konami is being pretty harsh on Dragon and Wyrm for some reason. PS: It looks like we'll be getting Fusion in Rush Duels as a major event since everything seems to indicate that we won't be getting GO RUSH's World this year. Also, Konami seems to want to give us Cyber ​​Dragon as the Nostalgia Deck when Fusion arrives (which looks like it will come in a Structure)

Well, I’ve come around to comment this matchup of the newest pack, Dark Matter pack, that I don’t want to miss. Needless to say, this was a pretty hilarious back-and-forth onslaught between you and Alex. Every game-ender was awesome but also jaw-dropping too. The 1st round you blindsided Alex by making a funny play with Contact Fusion for easy direct attack that can’t be stopped. Once again, reinforcing the idea of Heaven’s Eternity being Rush Duel’s equivalent of Gagaga Cowboy where it can act as a game ender on low LP. The 2nd round was even more hilariously jaw-dropping with you OTK Alex out of nowhere and I’m sure Alex took seconds to process it. But then, in the 3rd round Alex once again reigned triumphantly by giving a beatdown with DM Emperor Dragon and punished you for using low-attack monsters without any defence. The 3 matchups were just so entertaining to watch and, as you said, the decks you two used basically racing against each other on which can OTK first in the game. I think with the newest support in this pack, Alex got a bunch of Dark Matter or Dark Galaxy supports here to play around. I saw Deathtacle Parasite being the MVP and hard-carried Dark Galaxy/Matter deck and I hope Alex will keep this card in his deck because of its generic milling. False Sun and Moon also helped Dark Matter/Galaxy deck by giving more bodies on board and turning themselves face-down, an ability the deck desperately needed. The only missing card here would be, like you said, a card that can make face-down monsters back into face-up so the deck can push for game. The Zombie was also a nice addition for the game but I wish we got more new Zombie Monsters in the pack beside the 3 Defiant Souls cards. As it is, the deck was hard-carried by other good cards and your build also included cards that were meta to bolster the deck, like Legend packages, Sunset Rebirth and Scat Thief. Hopefully, we will get more Zombie cards too because that deck is a pretty underrated in Rush Duel. I will keep this brief but, once again, a pretty hilarious but awesome spectacle that you two brought this week; fitting for the opening matchup using the latest DM pack. Let’s see who will snatch the victory in this matchup. Also, a minor trivia a bit, I heard the Dark Matter pack have been out of stocks in Japan in just a couple of days. Whether it was because it sold out like crazy, short-printing of the packs, or the combination of the two, I will leave it to your imagination here.

About Dark Matter, I'll say that it's the most benefited Deck in the pack and one of the most popular at the moment (along with Rush's HERO) The recent support allowed Dark Matter to be more versatile and now have many Builds: - Using the combination of Dark Matter Dragon and Dark Matter Mist to get to Dark Matter Emperor Dragon (focused more on Level 7 Monsters) - Using the old strategy focused on Level 5 Monsters to get to Dark Matter Enigmata (which needs its Anime's support since there are many Spell Cards focused on Dark Matter Enigmata) - Using the "Voidvelgr and Dark Matter" combination (now that both have Contact Fusion Monsters) That said, the Deck is much better now in general thanks to Deathtacle the Strange Star Parasite, which is a good starter and prepares the GY, and the "False Sun and False Moon" combo, which helps a lot to expand the combos of Dark Matter's Monsters. Considering that we still won't get rid of Dark Matter in the Anime, it is to be expected that they will continue to receive support in the future (but now at a moderate pace) PS: The recent Anime Episode brought a showdown between Chemicalize and Abysslayer. The latter hadn't appeared in a Duel for a while. - The highlight for Chemicalize is that they got the last Fusion Monster to complete the Chromatographagas's trio: this time, being a Fusion Monster that can gain a lot of ATK and be a Floodgate against Special Summon from the Hand (unless it's a FIRE Monster) - Abysslayer brought a Boss Monster focused on gathering Maximum Pieces easily and quickly, as well as some Spell/Trap that allows you to prepare the GY quickly and have what you need in your Hand for the next Turn. PS2: In the "Character Draft", Tomatosaurs was basically saying that he is going against the Dark Matter Empire since many of Alex's Decks are used by Characters allied to the Empire.

Ah, Defiant Soul. Honestly, the surprise of the pack in that no one expected more Zombie support to come (let alone those Monsters being WIND Zombie: a rare combination to see) Speaking of this Zombie Deck, it's what people are currently experimenting with, but I have doubts about whether it will be able to excel from now on. Yes, there is good OTK potential thanks to the old Zombie cards, but I still think it's not enough: at least now it's a viable Deck to use and steal some wins. Guyghast the Defiant Soul stands out most of all for being a Monster that only requires one Tribute and can destroy Level 8 or lower Monsters (an Effect that is only seen often on Level 7 or 8 Boss Monsters). It helps a lot that many Contact Fusion Monsters (not all) are Level 8 or lower, which makes many Boss Monsters with the Effect of "Destroy Level 8 or lower Monsters" much more viable to use (like Celeb Rose Magician) Now, despite it being splashable, I haven't seen Spectress of Heaven's Eternity used in multiple Decks so far. However, it's a good Contact Fusion Monster to guarantee winning the Duel since there are few Trap Cards focused on stopping Direct Attacks (too bad Zombie Decks don't have many Monsters or Spell Cards that can boost a Zombie Monster's ATK). That said, I can see Spectress of Heaven's Eternity being annoying and unfair in Rush's Duel Links due to the lower LP count. Anyway, there is potential for a Zombie Deck, but Defiant Soul needs to get the "Love" or "Excutie" treatment: i.e. have its own dedicated Deck (I can see it being a WIND Zombie Deck focused on Level 5 or lower Monsters with 0 DEF)

Well it's the first deck i used on the new box and it's good I even beat Mirror Innovator using this deck well I was using the Blue Eyes White Dragon Burst Stream Engine & King's Majesty Engine For added atk and def and Running 2 Bunker for Consistency & Set up also Instead of Dragon engine I'm running Kuribot since I don't want to run to many Dragons and lose to a Randomly drawn Buster Blader I mean what can you do about a 6k+ Beater if you didn't have negate atk or buffered That's just GG❤

Kinda wish the skill lowered Level 8+ monsters levels like Hell-Tuning Invasions reduces things so Miragias can always be live, even if the damage is halved as a result Its definitely not as bad as one would think at least, since Metagias can make up for Miragias' shortcomngs somewhat

Fun fact: Except for a few details, this was the Build for a Dragon Deck in Early Rush Duels (at least, in the section of Main's Monsters that are Dragon Monsters). However, it was easily overshadowed/replaced by Dragoncaster Deck. Other than that, it's nice to see that, over time, people will realize that, outside of Dragias, Metagias is the best Boss Monster for Luke's Deck. That's because Trap Cards focused on Destroying Monsters became much more common to see as the format progressed. Also, I hope we get some modern Dragon support like Double Twin Dragon or Twin Edge Fire Dragon as I feel it would help Dragon Deck stand out a bit more without relying on a Skill. PS: I hope they release the rest of Dragon Cards (other than Dragias) from the Banlist as I feel like they wouldn't be a problem in the current Meta.

Hmm I actually play the new Dragias card with Dragonic Resonance skill instead, I knew I was going to lose consistency from the other skill but it's ok.

They really need to hit a few cards here. Breezed through my way to kog with these and it was so brain dead too,not fun at all. These cards are for people that can’t think of anything else but winning. Made another account just to play a real deck lol this thing is so embarrassing.

Yup the moment I saw the new Monarch l thought of this deck the other Deck Im considering is Bubble Blue Eyes since the Police Dian Keto is good at tournaments specially if you draw it turn 1since it gives you information on opponents card helping you adjust your plays also getting rid of a key card is always good and hitting legend backrow is best case scenario yey Blue Eyes Got Buff before World's as expected they want worlds to be Blue Eyes Format❤

Yeah,i teach KOG this month with Blue Eyes and Monarch but only using lv.5 monarch not. lv.7 because too much tribute and i only using Monarch effect too see opponent backrow(and destroy it if spell)...and Essel great help too if get second and lucky pull it

this deck is really awesome, glad the monarchs are seeing play. personally i had a lot more success with a pure blue eyes build that teched little wilhel but the more expansive monarch package is really cool too. zuse is so so cracked and really makes the whole package work imo

I got King of Games with a Red-eyes B. Dragon with blue-eyes in it. You should give it a try! I had a lot of fun with it. I called it "Black and Blue Dyno." The synergy that made it so fun was being able to use Blue-eyes Bright dragons pop effect by having Red-eyes easily accessible.

Sawatari is explaining to Kaiba that he's not a 3rd Tier Duelist with a 4th Tier Deck. It's just that the Arc-V storyline was against him on many occasions where he should have won. References to Gallop's Yu-Gi-Oh aside, it's interesting that Rush's Monarch has paired well with Rush's Blue-Eyes here, despite clearly being incomplete. In the actual Rush Duels format, Rush's Monarch is currently a solid Deck with good matchups, but that's because it got some good Support a few months ago. In Rush's Duel Links, it will take a while to receive Galaxy Monarchs to have the complete Deck as it was presented. Either way, I'm glad that almost all of the Super Mini Box Decks have had an impact on the Meta or improved some Decks. PS: I'm surprised to see Psychic and Aqua Decks doing well in Tournaments/Events (especially Aqua). Not to mention it's funny that Psychic Deck is mentioned as a threat currently when it was a Meme Deck way back when. If there's a Tier update, Psychic Deck should be represented by CAN - Melo:D, that one Boss Monster carries the entire Deck. PS2: I'm also surprised that I don't see many LIGHT Machines Decks anymore (or is that just me). I still see some Royal Rebel's and Maximum Cyberse Decks, but I've felt that the number of LIGHT Machines has decreased. Are they waiting for the right Moment or Tournament to take over? Have people already gotten tired of playing that Deck and moved on to other Decks (this also happens in the real Rush Duels format)? Or do they just have bad matchups against the new Decks?

Okay, I might be the only here to get a delight in seeing Tomato's frustration in facing Alex who took the chance to play a variant of HERO deck. Considering that Tomato swept 3 consecutive wins the last several weeks by using the HERO deck, it was pretty cathartic to see Alex got the win here by using the the deck that had swept him under the rug weeks before. Tha aside, I already knew Tomato would have a hard time this week when you decided to play Beast Gear once again. I mean... The deck wasn't that unplayable compared to other decks but I think brunosanto had explained it well and you did experienced it during gameplay. The deck basically lost half of its firepower without the new Field Spell active. Not to mention, Beast Gear in general doesn't have a clear game plan or winning condition outside of going Aggro or swarming the field. Compared that to Alex's Gakki HERO deck. Yes, Alex's deck was heavylifted by the inclusion of Dance and Miracle Fusion but the big Fusion monsters could do so many good things like removing your S/T with Burstwingman and FullOrchestra, or even Trap Immunity and Piercing with Divinebreath. With Alex adding some meta cards like Cosmos Jest into the mix, it's not hard to see you had the rough matchup this week. I don't think could even hold the candle currently with the ever evolving meta and, while the new Field Spell gave some new layer to the deck, the deck needs more wincon, additional strategy, or more influential cards. Cards that can add back the Field Spell, summoning more monsters other than Shiba doing the heavy lifting, destructive cards exclusive for Beast Gear, snd better Spell/Traps would do wonders for the deck. I think I don't need to say much regarding Alex's deck because, yes, combining Gakki and Hero into a single deck was actually a brilliant idea and a solid deck to play. The deck still had problems with the heavy reliant on Vanillas, correct millings, etc. but it was way better of a deck compared to Beast Gear. Still, big congrats for Alex to snatch a clutch victory of the month here! Knowing how expansive the new Dark Matter pack later, I can't wait to see you two tackle the Duel there. Still, I'm still excited if we still get several episode of the HERO deck because that deck was just a blast to see and play around with.

I really Want Tiger as a character in duel links but they already skip her since she appears first then Asana so the next Character is probably Yuo or the good Otes since the next arc is the tournament Arc well they probably skip it and head straight to season 2 the Goha siblings Arc there still hope for Tiger since Sherry got added after 5Ds Story ended🤔

On the other hand, let's talk about Beast Gear (or Beast-Warrior Deck in general) I'd say that the Deck has fallen out of favor and won't be able to recover until it receives a massive update. It's funny that a Deck that is known to be a Rush's Team favorite ends up like this (but Konami has other plans) Beast Gear needs ways to reuse and recover its Field Spells from the GY, as well as more useful Low Level Effect Monsters. Heartless Hound needs better ways to set up the GY and more Effect Monsters (they can't rely on Normal Monsters anymore) Ironically, the new pack just gave us Heartless Hound Martial Master Praime Shiba, a Praime Monster that works more on Beast Gear than on Decks like Praime and Heartless Hound (to work with Praime, it first needs Field Spells that Praime has in the Anime). So, it's a small, but useful, improvement. PS: Speaking of the recent pack, Dark Matter just got a ton of buffs. Contact Fusion was what the Deck needed to be viable and a threat (especially when combined with Voidvelgr). PS2: Limit Jest of the Cosmos Princess, Konami! The Spell Card is too strong that it makes mediocre or bad Decks able to take on powerful Decks without problems.

And finally, we're done with Rush's HERO Decks for now. It's actually funny that we've seen all the HERO variants that came out of the Structure: Pure, Skysavior, and Music Princess. Music Princess's case is funny since it's a Deck that has trouble working on its own, but works wonders if it's paired with some accomplice to complement it. First, it was Dragias, then it was Rush's Gaia, and now it's Rush's HERO. Music Princess's Fusion package is pretty strong, but it forces you to carry a couple of mediocre Boss Monsters (at least its Effect Monsters have been improving over the months) That being said, Music Princess was fortunate to receive a Contact Fusion Monster, a good one since it helps with strategy. Likewise, having two Miracle Fusions (the OG and Music Princess's Dance) can be somewhat beneficial and somewhat unfair when she spams Fusion Monsters at you. However, Rush's HERO has become even stronger with the recent support, as from what I've seen, that it no longer needs Music Princess to succeed on its own.
