The Yuga skill is actually pretty good for a beatdown deck. You’ll be constantly getting out 1600 and 1900 beaters with the skill being used on side pieces along with the fact it’ll give you another beater next turn. Piercing samurai stocks about to rocket.
I'm not convinced by this. You're going to struggle to beat over 2500's outside of like SRM or a hard MAX summon. Spamming out 1600-2300 monsters just isn't enough for a good deck.
Ok, new Skills and new clues from that possible Box that will come along with Asana.
- Buster Blader's Skill sounds kind of powerful because of the OTK potential those Buster Blader's Monsters can achieve. The real Rush Duels format would like to have a card with the Skill's Effect since Rush's Buster Blader has not stood out much and was forgotten (despite being in a Meta where Dragon Decks existed). I guess people can't complain anymore about seeing Rush's Blue-Eyes in the ladder.
- Shadow Flower looks like it will be the Thunder Deck of the next Box: that extra Deck that comes with a Skill. Interestingly, Shadow Flower, with the Skill, received Pierce, something they do not have access to in the real Rush Duels format. Plant Decks will only be a Meta contender if they receive their best cards, but those cards (especially Trap Cards) would be somewhat powerful.
- Yuga's Skill makes the dream of having a Maximum Deck made up of only Maximum Monsters possible. It was common to see Decks like this in Early Rush Duels. In Rush's Duel Links, however, they will be more difficult to work with, especially when we don't have Heavenly Gift, 7 Chance and Cranked to Ten!!. In any case, enjoy the Maximum Decks that you see there and that are unfair since we are going to enter the Maximum Monsters drought.
- Asana's Skills were close to receiving the Psychic treatment, but Wyrms alone are more competent than Psychic (not that they need a Skill to be competitive). I think it's a given that we will have Peaks of Blisstopia, but it depends on the other Wyrm cards we receive to see if Asana can have an impact on the Meta. Asana's Maximum looks like it will be something from a Box.
- I think it is confirmed that we will have Shield Boring Kong and Beast Drive Mega Elephant in the next Box (perhaps with support related to their Anime Duelists). The interesting thing here is that I don't think there are many EARTH Level 8 Legend Monsters that the Skill can take full advantage of. F for Night Vision the Phantom Pigeon, that Boss Monster was left out of Asana's group.
We might get a super-mini a few weeks after the next box that contains Nightvision much like how we did for the Roaromin band members!
Well they just dropped info about the Asana event and also a special campaign I think?
I'm hyped for Vast Vulcan and the different combinations that'll happen!

@@Tomatosaurs she can (honestly should) get her fusion support with the other normal level 5, since we do need more of those for sewing or duplication, but honestly right now her best support is just iris the rare shadow flower
-Oh dear, I hope the Shadow Flower/Flower Ninjas appearing doesnt mean that Ranze/Rinnosuke arent coming eventually since Gakuto really wanted them by his side in DL. Plants do look like a fun resource cycling deck, though.
-Buster Blader makes me a bit worried as a Dragon enjoyer but we'll see how it turns out
-Asana's skills are ok. Hopefully her card releases are solid

@@viladapalha I'd love to see Ranze come out as playable but I doubt she will tbh. Skipping over Yosh and Menzaburo has made me think that a lot of characters wont make it.
I would expect the next character to probably be Tiger, but we'll have to wait and see!
Better part about Asana skills is Pylon
Because why the reason Pylon is important? FUSION

As much as I would love early fusions, we still have the Team Battle Royal left to finish out the season 1 of Sevens. In addition, it seems like the DL devs are following the plot of Sevens on a arc by arc basis than past worlds. We might have to see how they'll adapt the final arc before they tackle Season 2 of Sevens.

@@viladapalha While it doesn't have any new characters, it is the final arc that caps off the development of the main characters and sets up for Season 2 but I have been wrong before and had underestimated Konami love of putting anime season out of order.
I'm guessing that since Rush Duel events are usually every 3 months, making the next date September. Considering that month is sandwiched between two large events, we can slot that in a new Duelist Road type event with a skill in there than anything big. Plus saving a big Sevens news for October post tgs since we haven't gotten any Go Rush datamines. :

Yes
Unless konami give they a ban but i doubt it.
As is, Machines and Cyberse are good picks, but again this could all change with a banlist, skill changes and the new releases we should have this month!

I'm happy to see Shadow Flower, one of the more interesting decks in playstyle and aesthetic. Hopefully they give a combination of their Sevens and Go Rush support.
Imagine making a skill that turns your opponent monster face down... but not allow us to use Drilling Mandrill to you know... make actual use of it? :<
Princess Pylon, the few cards to make an appearance in the manga spinoffs before the anime right next to Transamu Rainac Overwrite and... Big Jaws. I think the skills requiring her are just them being cheeky about the whole Asana being the "Hime-sama" so the card being based on her.
That being said, the skills are okay... They probably don't need to push her hard because she will most likely be the last legal DL character for Worlds. If they do the whole "Two Decks and 1 Roleplay Deck sharing the same card pool" like Speed Duel DL Worlds, Asana will probably be a solid choice for the roleplay deck alongside Roa or Luke.
Though I'm more interested of the Sevens world post Asana. Three months after June is September and September is also a month full of DL releated events like Worlds on the 7th and 8th and the Tokyo Game Show on the 27th and the 28th.(or the 28th and the 29th for everything East of the new continent.). So any big Sevens news and event will take place on October. I have a few theories that might be Sevens related but I think this comment is long enough as it is. XD
I think most are predicting Fusion to be announced as the next big thing, but we'll have to wait and see!
I just hope the Buster Blader stuff is not a structure deck also get well soon❤

@@Tomatosaurs It has a high possibility since all the Darksword and Bright Eyes are in structure so they will probably also put it on structure to bait out P2W Players🤔
