That’s what I never liked about the Los Angeles area… people always name drop and say “LA” every chance they get.

I like Steve Hofstetter. I like a lot of his jokes, and I think there are lots of examples where he has genuinely clever and witty responses to much of the hecklers. He has done a lot of research into the politics he believes in, and whether or not you agree, I think it's worth appreciating that he actually knows firmly what he stands for. His most recent special (which was not out at the time of this video's release), 'The Recipe', was really good in my opinion. It's certainly his best special yet, much higher quality production, a lot of personal meaning throughout the whole special, and the venue is much more interesting, being at a real school he attended (I think it was his high school, but I might be wrong). The stage is well decorated, having actual props rather than low resolution pngs. I'd agree that he probably has a pretty big ego, I also wouldn't consider him a top tier comedian, and he certainly tends to play it safe by touring and performing in a way the mostly promotes people who already like his work to go to his shows. I don't find him particularly boring, and as I said before, I enjoy watching him, so I wouldn't say he's a bad comedian, but he certainly isn't revolutionary. I also find the constant use of "own" in his titles for dealing with hecklers to be a bit cringy in the boring and out of touch way (rather than the bold, kinda charming, low quality high effort sort of way). While I do disagree with a fair amount of points in the video, I did not end up disliking it nearly as much as I thought I would've. I didn't have any grand revelations, though I'd say my perspective on him has become a bit more nuanced. Once thing I very much appreciate from this video, something that I was expecting and was pleasantly surprised not to see, was a simple dig at his politics. The only thing that was really mentioned on the subject was his seeming unwavering defensiveness of the Democratic party, which I think is a very fair criticism. When I think back, I don't remember him ever making jokes or ever really questioning any Democrats. I'ma be honest, when I first clicked this video, I thought it was a Steve Hofstetter special that I had somehow missed, not having payed any attention to the channel name. I didn't expect this sort of video, and while I personally think it's a bit harsh, it was overall put together well, most of the points were fair criticisms that I think have objective value rather than just coming from subjective taste, makes it clear that you truly care about the comedy scene being good rather than just casting a negative light on him for being "woke", and while I wouldn't call you a master, you're certainly better at Tetris than I am. P.S. I've never heard of Patrice O'Neal, and I'll certainly be checking him out.
