I heard some years ago a successful man say ( in so many words paraphrasing): It’s not how nice or expensive the car we drive to get to our destination in life; but how we drive / get there to our final stop. How we treat others , how we use our talents , do we cut out the noise and listen to and follow HIS voice. I try every minute / hour / day . Often listening to my own self, but I eventually get back on track. Hard to be in this world and not of it . Keep up the good fight Jonathan!

Where the 06 crew cabs at maneee looking for a grey stone metallic , don’t care for the 6.0 the 5.3 get better mpg an are the most reliable engines w the stage 2 4l60e trans. Gotta be 4x4 as well.

Both trucks have the same identical motors GM just changed the name in 06 to Maxx instead of HO for sales reasons basically. Believe it or not I currently have an 06 Cadillac Escalade with the 6.0 Maxx and I love it and yes she says lq9 in the glove peace

ima get a 2nd gen and make it a street truck. i barley see people making these trucks in to street builds but im hoping to see more to get more info on how to build it.

I have an 2002 with 147K. It has taken me deep into the backcountry of Oregon and Washington. It has towed quads and trailers filled to the brime with any and everything. I will NEVER part with it. There are times when I would rather drive it instead of my 2016 Caddy CTSV fire breather! If you know YOU KNOW!!

GM had it right between 99-06,build quality was definitely much better during that era.

I remember buying mine coming out of high school while working at a dealership.. and thats wjere i found it, 1 owner 83k miles for only 10,000 for an "employee discount" which made me even more grateful to the little family i met while working there..

Back in the 90s I had a 89 single cab slammed on KMCs. Just recently found me a 02 slammed on 22” welds. love those single cabs keep it OG.

My first car ( I was in love with it for five years my assistant scoutmaster had it- it was my first ‘crush’. 63 impala SS But I was talking motorcycles day and night,, at 15. Parents saw a ‘solution’ Basicly all my savings went into that car…( I work with my dad since I was 11 helping him with his side gig.. drain tile work ( ditch digging so to say). But $. Any way it was a car that was always stored in the winter up north.. but it was raced and had a nice repaint,, 69 Corvette Sapphire, blue with extra silver in the paint .. same thing as this truck : daytime it was light blue … not in the sunlight medium blue,, at night under the street lights it was a little purpleish strange blue. Even though it was stored in the winter.,, it spent its first three years on the street,,, body was in great shape, but the frame was cracking and rusted out along the bottom specially in the back before the axle😢. Sold it for a 68 GTO .. bought it with cheater, slicks, and glass packs… I was class of 75,, and my generations was blessed with muscle cars that the older guys bought and had to sell with getting married and having kids.. most of them were rusted out … I learned to be very careful of the frames. At 20 years old I moved out the rust belt to Texas and then later to Georgia… only drive home to visit my sibs in the summer/fall or I fly and rent a car… I fear / hate the salt!!!!!!!!! At 67 I still get under my vehicles and wash under them bout every other year…. I love 20 plus year old vehicles that are as pretty under as on top…. I can lay under them for an hour just look at the chassis.,,, and remember the times working under them while I was 15 -19 years old - rust falling in my eyes.. THAT’S THE STUFF OF NIGHTMARES FOR ME.

It reminds me of my low mile o3. BUT yours has JUST the right miles .. if you have one under 50,000 miles you don’t want to drive it( fear putting more miles on) . If I had to do over, I would’ve bought one with over 100,000….
