J Anthony Who ? Ha ha hey we haven’t forgotten you buddy ! Hey you got stuff goin on - u take care of u! U got such a following we will be here waiting .
The GMT 800 Yukon's and Tahoe's are becoming modern classics and drawing attention. People have come up to me asking if I want to sell my 2006 GMC Yukon
I'm a huge fan of the 8.1 big block like the gray extended cab you had. Those HD's with the 8100 are bringing good money. I have a 2001 regular cab LS 4x4 8.1 I bought new. Would love to see a GMT800 3/4 ton for sale on your channel. Keep up the great work!
The 99 truck with 45k miles, I bet it’s the intake gasket. My truck does the same thing and it is losing vacuum. In turn, it gives the “misfire” illusion. I bet too that it idles good off start and after driving it for a few minutes it idles at 500 rpm and feels like it’s missing. I’d clean off the idle position sensor on the throttle body and replace the intake gasket. The 99-02 intake gaskets were horrible and didn’t seal good from factory. The way you know if it’s original is the gasket will have a reddish coating on it. Also in the video you pointed at the idle position sensor and said it was the fuel pressure regulator, it’s actually the small circular thing with 1 tiny vacuum hose on the driver side of the motor.
Something to do to check if it’s the intake gasket is bad. Go to the brake booster and pull the vacuum hose, if you don’t hear a strong hissing noise come out from the hose/brake booster, the intake is not providing a strong enough seal due to the gasket being bad. That vacuum hose routes directly to the back side of the intake.
@@LuCidRayn01 gotcha! Thank you for correcting that! & I have noticed most of the 99-02 have that very minor misfire to them at idle.. it’s very small, I guess it’s always because of the intake gasket issue you are mentioning.. I shot this vid in a rush I appreciate your wise insight sir great help 🙏🏾
@@janthonyauto I appreciate your thorough videos! I always enjoy seeing your inventory and what gems you might find. You’re the best GMT800 enthusiast I’ve ever seen. I love following those trucks! I have a question though, how come you don’t get any avalanches? I’ve seen you with only 1 way back I believe.
@@janthonyauto no disrespect but it’s way to close to 300k that’s just way too high maybe because I’m from the south and I see them truck every day just as clean as this one going for 6k
