I’m not a fan of the mechanics on the trucks passed 2013.. & 2007(NNBS)-2013 is me being nice just because it’s the same block as GMT800 they just put more electronic components on the engine.. but after that in my opinion they went left on the silverado motor wise & transmission wise… BUT I do see alot of them running for a long time.. so it’s all about how you drive it.. the people with a soft foot see more life out of the newer models.
Matter of opinion for sure. I’ve lived in snow belt , lots of camping living in Texas and now n Georgia , had to get wife out twice but I have never been in a mess that I couldn’t get out myself , always owned rear drive Chevys - mostly suburbans for wife n Silverados for me n the three girls ( college n H/S) … now I don’t hunt and do logging roads but I do a lot of bluegrass festivals and light off road. Had extra weight behind the cab and A/T tires on most. I’m a simple guy who mostly owned W/T - work trucks - wind up windows ,,, basic bench seat ( no console ) suburbans. Just saying - I hear a lot of folks ask about my 31,000 some mile mint short wheel base : oh it doesn’t have 4x4 … my response : ‘right cause I didn’t want it.’ lol ( my retirement toy ) By the way I’m 67 years old .. same house - same wife for 38 years. … worked for same co for 35 years ( blue collar journey man) … I try to keep it simple , less chaos .

Yo j, how you feel about the 2014 silverado's?
it's not a gmt800, get a 15 not a 14, never buy the first model year
@idonthaveaname386 too late. I've been driving one for 4½ years now.
@marksman… 🚮… after 2006 they started falling off… but 2006 is the Best Year!
@@Jessejames007-p5s I like the 03 myself.
