To fully understand what's going on, because many people misunderstood this interview. Glover and his brother's project is still in the making. Simien is talking about HIS Lando project, which was already canceled last year, and the Glover brothers have taken over, creating either a TV series or a movie (this was never specified). Simien has only now made it official, but the news itself is old. In fact, nothing has really changed for a year.

These news are like a year old aren't they? He was kicked off the project and it was made into a film instead. No news on the movie yet from what I've seen

Pity if true. Solo was a solid movie and the characters had potential for sequels.

Very sad. 😢 I was also looking forward to this. Glover is a fantastic actor. Plus, a real-life version of Hondo was another character I was hoping to see, if it was possible. 😝

The movie might also be in doubt, there's been no news in a long time on that front.

Oh my goodness, some of these are insanely expensive!! 😮 I used to collect Marvel Comics trading cards back in the 1990s, then gemstones, then men's colognes. 😅 The only Star Wars items I've sort of collected are the Black Series lightsabers: I have the iconic red saber by Vader, green saber by Luke, Anakin's blue saber, Rey's yellow one, and soon to come in the mail, Mace Windu's purple saber. 💜

That's easy... Christmas season 1981 Star Wars came back out with a Preview for the next installment of the Stat Wars Saga... " Revenge Of the Jedi" as it was originally titled. I worked in a movie theater at the time. I got still have the original press kit sent to the theaters at the time. That press kit also came with a rolled version of the Original One Sheet. I still have both the Star Wars One sheet with it saying see the preview of "Revenge of the Sith". I also clipped the entire preview off the film which was shown in theater's... I have that 35mm original preview plus the one sheet and entire press package. What would later become " Return of the Jedi".

Genuine question. I'm a star wars fan but not a hardcore fan who knows everything and watches all of the content. Why do you guys (hardcore fans) still watch the new content? I mean hasn't everything been horrible since Disney bought it? That's what i've heard at least. i just don't understand, i know disney is completely changing the way things work and are straying away from what George Lucas wanted.

We are looking forward to this new show. A bit of lightheartedness is certainly needed in the Star Wars fandom.

Im always looking forward to more SW, and Im cautiously optimistic about Skeleton Crew. The writers & directors all have skills, so fingers crossed. It seems more like a straightforward hurrah of a show, which maybe will tamp down the haters a bit

I am most definitely looking forward to the Skeleton Crew. Seeing how some of the main characters are kids, I have a feeling that we have to do all that we can to protect these kids from online haters, which I have a good feeling will happen, sadly. But yeah, I'm all up for new Star Wars content with brand new characters. 😊 Thanks for the info, Simon!

not seen any of your videos in a while due to being away, apologies for commenting on your appearance, but i hope you dont mind me saying you're looking really well mate, whatever you're doing, keep it up buddy! i enjoy your reviews, theyre fair but have a decent amount of kindness in them, which is nice.

On a side note, I'm shocked, in the best way, of how good you're looking right now! Hope you did overcome your adaptation problems. If you were my son, I would be very proud indeed! (Mine is somewhat older than you) Having to deal with all the major difficulties the procedure brings id hard, but I say, the results are great, congratulations!

Great assessment of the show, I was able to see some good through your eyes, though not agreeing with all the points you thought were good. The places, narure, that i liked. Also appreciated the fights, not much as you did, I could do without the slow motion, it took me off of the moment when I was really digging it. The witches were not a problem to me, at all, their being there, I mean. My biggest problem with the show was the general lack of consistency. I guess the internet will present different cuts that will benefit the show immensely I will not be sad if there never is a season two, but I will watch it.

Yoooooo!!! I love it. I just got my first two custom lightsabers. One is the ET1 from CCSabers & the other is The Mist from NeoSabers. The Mist is a katana style lightsaber & runs the XenoV3 board like yours. So far it's my favorite saber as I'm coming from Iaido, Kendo, & other kinds of kenjutsu. So I like that blend of traditional and lightsaber. But I think my next one will be a replica from a character. Although I'm not sure which one.

Great job, Simon! Great analysis. I agree, it's a fairly good start but overall, very badly structured. The editing felt splotchy and maybe rushed. A very promising story but badly paced. I'm with you on the twins. Didn't do it for me. I couldn't gravitate to them, especially their acting. I did enjoy the show but it could've been a lot better. Like, much better. There were some really good characters. Just very shoddy structuring. There were moments when I was like, "Wait, why is this happening?" and it was never really clearly explained. Like Bazil jeopardizing Sol's ship. I think it get why, but really, why? lol Love, love, love the choreography of this show. As well as the soundtrack. I had a chance to listen to it on Spotify while at work, and it's great ambience music. Brilliant analysis, Si! Very thorough and most thoughtful. And thought-provoking! I can definitely see the hard work you put in! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I do think the show had some good concepts and cool ideas but the writing is awful and cringe but I did love your video Simon so keep it up.

Disney + Star Wars = a bad combo. Its kinda like Hellmann's mayonnaise making foot cream. It might look like the same thing, but when you eat it it makes your head hurt and sick to your stomach. I'll go 1/10

I really enjoyed the Acolyte, especially liked the fight scenes, some were inspired by The Matrix but it fit well.

Oh that's awesome! I also have Luke's lightsaber, but I have the Hasbro Black Series one from about 10 years ago that uses batteries. It's cool! I get to twirl mine a lot and tease my cats with it. 😅 Yours seems fancier since it uses a USB cable, as well as an app. Plus it seems that yours has a lot more options, which is always nice. The Hasbro one that I have is fairly simple. You turn it on, it's a stable green colour, and it also makes the same saber noises when moving it around and the blade makes contact with other objects. I think you should get the Vader lightsaber! I have it (the Hasbro one, that is) and you honestly feel powerful holding it. Maybe one day, when I come visit you, I'll bring my saber, and we could swing our swords around together. ...Wait, I didn't mean it that way! 🤣 Or do I? 😏 Oh, I think it's a fun coincidence that I got my Rey lightsaber around the same time that you got Luke's. 😂

The lightsaber looks fantastic! Return of the Jedi is also one of my favorite films - probably because, unlike Episode 5, it has a good ending.

Looks like Sol was targeting Mae. Bazil knows that this is wrong.

This is gaslighting. There are multiple witnesses who can place Sol at the Jedi Temple when the murder of Indara happened. There is a witness who testified in front of other jedi including Ki Adi-Mundi (don't get me started on that steaming pile of turd) that Mae killed Indara. Are they all going to have their minds erased as well? And then the final scene. Now even if we believe that Yoda isn't all powerful and didn't sense the murders of multiple jedi by a force wielding maniac that still doesn't excuse the final scene in the show. Yoda is strong and powerful enough to get to the bottom of the matter with Vernestra. There is no way on god's green earth that she could conceal the truth of the matter to him. Which makes him complicit because the other alternative is so mind numbingly stupid that we all may as well just give it up.
