They didn’t do a very good job at trying to turn Barriss into an inquisitor 😆
Maybe they thought she wouldn’t need much convincing given her history with the Jedi..
This episode was definetly dark. Barriss didn't seem tonever fully embrace the dark side. Thanks for the reaction vid!
I know people like them to release all episodes together, but I really love when we get time to breathe, sedimentate the new knowledge, speculate and theorize like crazy between episodes
When all those innocent people in the town died, it broke my heart. I expected one to die. Or a few. But all except the child? Hot damn!
This episode was dark! And Barriss's turn back to the light side again was quick, but it makes sense considering that we only got 3 episodes of her arc here. Still quite enjoyable! On to the next and last episode!

We all new bariss wouldnt stay an inquisitor... Right? Nothing about her past actions indicate a full turn to the darkside, she was against the jedi ( a peacekeeping organisation with a previously solely diplomatic role) being generals in the war, nothing she said was wrong she just aimed her criticism at the wrong authority.
Pretty similar to count dooku tbh.
Dooku became a warmongering genocidal maniac. And Barriss was already showing vicious tendencies when she framed someone else for the crime, and even when she said “I think they suit me” in reference to using Ventress’ stolen lightsabers.
@@a_fine_edition2746 dooku did have palps whispering in his ear, yeah barriss said the red suits her but that was because in her head she had fallen but she actually hadn't not fully.
Dooku did plenty of planning out the war before he even became a Sith. He even orchestrated Sifo Dyas’ death. As for Barriss, still doesn’t change the fact that she bombed a building full of people and was responsible not just for the deaths of Jedi, but the death of a completely unwitting person who worked there and acted as the carrier of the explosives without his knowledge. And then she strangled her other conspirator to death in a manner that shifted the blame to someone else. THEN she staged a breakout for the person she framed, in which she killed several Clones to make Ahsoka look more guilty. And after that, when contacted by her friend, the person she framed, she explicitly led her towards a trap in which she would further implicate her in the bombings. This is a methodical and intentional path towards further violence and darkness. She had fallen, in her head or otherwise. It was completely asinine, slightly deranged, and incredibly hypocritical to stage a bombing to somehow prove a point about peace and how the Jedi have become too violent.
Barriss had the higher ground 😂

I figured she spared the child because he was the one who gave them the information and didn’t attempt to deceive them.
tbh I had more hopes for the barris storyline. I would have liked to focus more on training and becoming an Inq. On the other hand this series istn about big arcs but showing us little spots out of the life of a person. still it feels rushed, esp. her turning back to the light side. curious why noone could feel her light side, GIQ or even Vader. It felt like super clear that she is not 100% on board. would have also loved if she recognized Vader, that could have been her reason to turn again, maybe.

WTF was the sudden use of pronouns - they/them for the hiding Jedi on the top of the mountain????? SOOO stupid - for one - the Jedi never introduced himself using a stupid pronoun??? so how did the two inquisitors know to refer to Him as they??? come on Disney - get over your need to virtue signal.
