On a side note, I'm shocked, in the best way, of how good you're looking right now! Hope you did overcome your adaptation problems. If you were my son, I would be very proud indeed! (Mine is somewhat older than you) Having to deal with all the major difficulties the procedure brings id hard, but I say, the results are great, congratulations!

Great assessment of the show, I was able to see some good through your eyes, though not agreeing with all the points you thought were good. The places, narure, that i liked. Also appreciated the fights, not much as you did, I could do without the slow motion, it took me off of the moment when I was really digging it. The witches were not a problem to me, at all, their being there, I mean. My biggest problem with the show was the general lack of consistency. I guess the internet will present different cuts that will benefit the show immensely I will not be sad if there never is a season two, but I will watch it.
Great job, Simon! Great analysis. I agree, it's a fairly good start but overall, very badly structured. The editing felt splotchy and maybe rushed. A very promising story but badly paced. I'm with you on the twins. Didn't do it for me. I couldn't gravitate to them, especially their acting. I did enjoy the show but it could've been a lot better. Like, much better. There were some really good characters. Just very shoddy structuring. There were moments when I was like, "Wait, why is this happening?" and it was never really clearly explained. Like Bazil jeopardizing Sol's ship. I think it get why, but really, why? lol Love, love, love the choreography of this show. As well as the soundtrack. I had a chance to listen to it on Spotify while at work, and it's great ambience music. Brilliant analysis, Si! Very thorough and most thoughtful. And thought-provoking! Disney + Star Wars = a bad combo. Its kinda like Hellmann's mayonnaise making foot cream. It might look like the same thing, but when you eat it it makes your head hurt and sick to your stomach. I'll go 1/10

I really enjoyed the Acolyte, especially liked the fight scenes, some were inspired by The Matrix but it fit well.
I do think the show had some good concepts and cool ideas but the writing is awful and cringe but I did love your video Simon so keep it up.
