To fully understand what's going on, because many people misunderstood this interview. Glover and his brother's project is still in the making. Simien is talking about HIS Lando project, which was already canceled last year, and the Glover brothers have taken over, creating either a TV series or a movie (this was never specified). Simien has only now made it official, but the news itself is old. In fact, nothing has really changed for a year.
Very sad. 😢 I was also looking forward to this. Glover is a fantastic actor. Plus, a real-life version of Hondo was another character I was hoping to see, if it was possible. 😝

These news are like a year old aren't they? He was kicked off the project and it was made into a film instead. No news on the movie yet from what I've seen
