Last weekend's concert with Roland, Lukas and the amazing Maxime Dupuis, in a semi-posh wine bar in Montpellier's historic center, before an audience of mildly bewildered (and slightly pie-eyed) wine-lovers. I'd make a case for always adding a hyphen in "free-jazz" in future, lest people think (as it became abundantly clear they did that night) they are about to listen to "free" "jazz"... Oh well, we did play for free, but I'm not sure I'd call the result "jazz" in the traditional sense of the word! :P
