The nowness of the now - (Yves Bajulaz, Max Ridgway, Urbuli Baba)

A new piece (actually from a while back but only recently completed) with Max on electric guitar, featuring Yves Bajulaz on sax, who also did the final mix!
The title came to me in something of a sudden pseudo-poetic burst of Heidegger-cum-armchair-buddhist-like inspiration while meditating naked atop a snow-capped peak on the Annapurna.
Yves Bajulaz, whose work I have been following for some time, is an American saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Switzerland, who's been living in California for many decades! His work explores the many sonic territories overlapping jazz, free improvisation, meditation music, atonal and experimental music... Yves deliberately kept his contribution to this tune on the minimalistic side, offering distant echoes of melodic fragments... I'm hoping to do another collab with him soon, this time based on his own music!
