Staple Cheese [Midnight sessions in Le Passage] - (Roland Devocelle, Urbuli Baba)

I didn't want to antagonise hardcore Parker fans by calling our slightly unorthodox cover of this well-know standard its original name (Steeplechase)... Anyhow, hope you enjoy this little session - one among many more that Roland and I recorded in Agen/Le Passage last month. We had just wrapped up an afternoon recording session with our friend Thierry Mariétan on upright bass (which I'll upload soon), and came back after midnight to play a few last tunes as a duet...
I hope you won't find the contrast between Roland's outstanding professional recording and mix, and the very fuzzy lofi visuals from my shoddy camera phone too jarring!
